Drug no longer covered by OHIP sees 400% price hike

Users say they were hit with a 400 per cent price increase of a generic drug that is no longer covered by Ontario.

  1. Why isnt it covered by the government, isnt the government supposed to care for it’s taxpayers? What a money grab.

  2. I wonder how fast they would change their tune if everyone angry with them showed up at their facilities with an assortment of ways to show them how it feels to not be able to breath.

  3. OHIP should set prices for out of pocket medical costs. If you get your eyes examined you pay 3-4 times what OHIP pays for the exact same service.
