Because crooked politicians and corporations want it that way. If it was easy to vote, the people would vote and rule. They complain that only 60% of Americans usually vote and do everything in their power to keep it that way.
Republicans make unjust rules designed to make it hard for Democrats to vote. It’s known as voter suppression or political doping.
What the people there are doing is having paper “mail-in ballots” printed out so they can either fill them out there and drop them off ( or at one of the other Phila. city sites) or take them home to be filled out and either mailed( which imo is too risky) or put in a drop box. This is NOT the same as in person voting with voting machines which is only happening in PA on 11/3.
Why is there a line next to Phila. City Hall? Because it’s convenient to get there. And PA has never had actual mail in balloting before this year. Before it was absentee balloting only plus in person voting.
Plus the pandemic. The EU is having a huge problem with cases,right?
If it helps with foreign trolls , Phila. has a ton of equipment to handle and process these ballots. And this has bern said a thousand, in certain places, the lines happen partially because of voter suppression. But the lines are not universal in the US. I have never stood in a line. I live about a mile from this video took place.
@Karen Byrd Yeah, the county also has quite a few drop off sites. Unlike Texas where the governor blocked counties from having more than one site despite the vast size of the average Texas county. The line at city hall is probably because everyone knows city hall is a drop off site. People may not have checked to see where the nearest site is to their home/work. Also, people are standing several feet apart so the line stretches much further than a normal line.
CORRUPTION. Voter suppression. Republicans don’t want us voting b/c Democrats are in the MAJORITY. So they lie/cheat/steal every election they can.

That would be the most dangerous thing the Supreme Court could possibly do. Let’s say Biden wins with the same margin Trump did in 2016. It would be pure insanity for the court to overturn in if they’re smart enough. It would be catastrophic.
Trump and Republicans would do away with your right to vote and the Constitution all together if they could.
In March, Trump openly admitted that an increase in voting numbers would hurt his party, saying proposed reforms would result in “levels of voting, that if you ever agreed to it, you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again.”
