  1. Please let’s not get something wrong. The Democrats do not need to start hand-wringing, blaming, feeling guilty and ashamed or profusely apologizing. If Biden maintains both his Electoral College as well as popular vote leads he wins the 2020 Presidential election – Period. But remember, this is not just any election. This wasn’t a battle; this was war. There have been many, many casualties, albeit nontraditional ones, from murders (Kenosha/Portland/Tacoma) to how many needless COVID-19 deaths, disabilities and infections? Former VP Biden will have defeated arguably the greatest single risk our democracy may have ever faced, certainly in generations. If Biden wins he will have legally defeated an incumbent President who was using all legal and illegal powers at his disposal in his attempt to defeat his challenger no matter the costs – yet still fail.
Biden and this country, no matter how narrowly, will have conquered a man and his far too many coconspirator sycophants who have used every trick in libraries of books. To name just a few, this administration has tried to divert, depress, divide and conquer using: overt racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, Anti-Semitism, anti science, facts and reality, gaslighting, psychological manipulation, pervasive social media propaganda and misinformation campaigns with tens of thousands of lies, virtually unlimited campaign donations, law enforcement and white supremacist militias, USPS delivery slowdowns (USPS failed to deliver 27 percent of mail-in ballots in South Florida), hundreds of court challenges to election processes and voting rights as well as the overt solicitation of and assistance from foreign governments all while undermining the very legitimacy of democratic institutions: voters, voting and elections, finance campaign laws, peaceful transfers of power even political and social norms… What about the President’s blatant disregard for our Constitution, laws and values? Democrats up and down the battle have done extraordinarily well in the face of such a ruthless, endless onslaught.
If on January 20, 2020 Biden becomes the President, he and every single voter who was lucky enough to cast a ballot and have that vote counted (for any candidate) will have won by a larger margin than we can possibly fathom but historians, teacher and students hopefully will ponder these events for a very long time. We will have saved our democracy; saved vital, treasured although worn intuitions. Still, we must remain vigilant. Perhaps someday soon we will come together and celebrate, and even grieve, surviving. Regardless – It’s victory.

    1. @Mj light the very worst that can happen is to have either party control the house, Senate and executive!!!!

    2. YEa Bruh, im sorry, & i get it, but do we really need to be tearing down statues ina time like this? i mEAN Yyou are going to find vilinous statues, of men whon where in the heat of a Nation being built, all over this world. fukn got caugt looikin again. well if Donny wins, that will sum it up for me, he is won of the best politicians of all tim, clearly. but i dont think he thought he was goin to win. TWICE! then he spike the foot ball early and says, ” I told ya so, knew it the whole time!” he is also one of the stupiest men of time. but i aint never seen somone this untouchable. and i better not see one goddam invetigation, even if he ganked this election, he told yall he was going too… they better 100 milion envelopes stamped ol Joe out there….

    3. @Vincent Conti and some of the things we fought to leave England over, Democrats fight to bring back. Here’s one- Taxation without representation. How is that someone can vote to increase my property taxes when they, themselves, own no property? It betters the schools? Really? What if I have no kids? What if I homeschool? Democrats consistently fight to take the property of some for the benefits of others.

  2. Our soldiers fighting all over the world. He not only puts our heroes in harms way. This is humiliating here, can you imagine wearing our uniform in another Country? Being insulted for a Shameless Autocrat.

    1. @TheCrazyPichuGirl I said different degrees. I voted Trump because I know he will do a better job than Biden. He has done more than Biden ever has.

  3. This confirms 2016 was not a fluke. America is more screwed up than ever, there is no correction, no awakening, just a broken nation.

    1. 300,000 missing ballots that could have changed the election. I guess they knew about that too? I think Dems were duped again. Lucy is still holding the football 🏈 and Dems still trying to kick it

    2. Breaking News:
Biden just won Michigan. Biden 253; Trump 214
All tgat’s left are NV, GA and a few minor small electoral counts.
      Trump US blowing a fuse.

    1. @TheCrazyPichuGirl patriotism requires counting all the votes surely. It would be bad for Trumpists if those doubts remained.

    1. @Ted Folke ikr…why isn’t he married like a typical Republican….with happy wife and a bunch of inbred kids?
      Lol… totally agree

    2. @SoWavyFernandez you obviously don’t know the difference between absentee ballots and mass mail in ballots do you ? And all this delay and confusion is a direct result of the mass mail in ballots. Republicans tried to warn you this would happen. But did democrats listen. Noooo.

    3. @David Hale You all are fine with getting infected with the, supposedly, faux virus. While a lot of us were/ are not. Hence the surge about mail-in ballots.

    4. @Karen Byrd excuses excuses. And what happened in the end. Everyone went out and voted anyways. At the end democrats were saying just go vote. Throwing aside their push for mail in ballots.
Life goes on. The flu is still out there so are auto accidents gun violence drunk drivers. What you gonna hide the rest of your life ?

  4. I am experiencing disgust at man’s inhumanity to man. Shame on this nation for allowing this at this point in time. We appear to be evolving backwards not forwards.

    1. It’s like watching the fall of an empire, eating itself from within. Drowning in decadence and greed. Trump will be having gold toilets in the Whitehouse next. The big, unclimbable fence will stay in place.

    2. @janeen harris Few really talk too much about the Fall of the British Empire, the largest empire, physically, in history which we were a part of. Between Brexit and the pandemic the UK ,as it is today , may be finished.

    3. @NO TRUMP NO PEACE!!! Trump is the Whiner in Chief, that’s all he does is cry and complain about everyone who doesn’t fawn all over him, but yeah, “you people” are snowflakes.

  5. Unfortunately it’s TRUE, specially among Latino voters, there are many who think they are better than their fellow Latinos. And do not realize that they are not white or that once the attacks began again, the man they chose over their people does not really see the difference. Than they will cry about injustice and like their “lord” place the blame elsewhere.

    1. @Christian Figueroa You have a good case here about latinos being lumped together and seen as one block instead of looking at their varied needs, backgrounds etc. Also, yes the democrats can do more to understand and respect this but my confusion here is what have the republicans/trump ever done for latinos? Why do some latinos think that trump represents their interest?

    2. @dragonfly sutra You are asking a very smart and thoughtful question. First let me caveat my response with a very big “This is my view and analysis of this based off of my personal experience as a Hispanic and based of my particular focus/interest on Hispanic polling data every election cycle”. I’m by no way saying that my analysis is right. Second, I think your question can be reworded with why do some “American voters” rather than Latinos because I think this applies to all American voters. But focusing on Latino voters in FL, the big answer is perception. The perception of Trump in FL amongst many Latino voters is that he’s good for the economy (wrong or right) because he’s a shrewd businessman (arguably wrong). Why? because while Trump’s policies may in fact be punitive in the real world for most Latinos (again not all Latinos are the same) and the working class, he is very good at delivering a message and constructing an image. Trump throughout the campaign was pumping message after message on Spanish TV and Spanish radio discussing the economy. Biden’s message was “coming together” something that’s so abstract and for many Latinos irrelevant. Biden’s campaign didn’t even try to counter Trumps economic message with their own. Now Trumps economic message was weak and could have been countered but Biden’s team didn’t argue for an alternative. For the most part voters don’t care about data, figures, and policy papers they care about the overall message. They care about the economy but they don’t care about quarterly gdp figures. If you’re able to say I’m good for the economy and the other person is bad because of blank…(keeping it simple) and you’ll benefit with my plan because…(again keeping it concise and simple) than that’s enough. Biden didn’t even try.

    3. @Christian Figueroa Yes I must admit I have said this very same thing tonight to my mother, when pointing out some mistakes of biden. Still I can’t help but feel sad to think that people are just concerned with the economy and their money that they do not consider all the factors of judging Trump’s presidency. Whatever the outcome, America has come log hard thinking to do.

    4. @dragonfly sutra Yes, I agree it’s very sad but the good thing is that if you’re a Biden voter I’m very cautiously optimistic that in the end he will pull off a win. Unfortunately the lack of a landslide, some congressional seat losses, and the Senate staying in Republican hands signals that we won’t have a repudiation of Trumpism. Trumpism will continue to dominate the Republican party, possibly grow even stronger. The country will continue to remain polarized and because there won’t likely be a blue Senate win obstructionism will be a key tactic for the opposition in the years to come.

    5. @Christian Figueroa You are completely right in your predictions for the political future, another reason for feeling sad.

    1. Yes, like an embarrassing alcoholic parent and an abuser that’s emotionally draining…SHAME ON AMERICA

    1. When’s THAT gonna happen? Because GOD resides in TRUTH (SPIRIT OF TRUTH) and what America’s been residing in for 4 years are lies…Lies…LIES!!! By the chief liar Trump!!!

  6. How come the postal service didn’t look for the missing votes the judge told them to! Why don’t they have to abide by the law like the rest of us!

  7. Race will always be an issue in America let’s face it ! “They “ don’t want to man up to slavery’s dark past , U owe us 4 Life !!!

  8. Even if Biden wins the fact that Trump pulled out such numbers is very disheartening…what does that say about our country!

    1. @Joe P Corruption = Trump.Lies = Trump. Wars = Bush. Scandals= Trump. Broken promises= Trump. Endless propaganda = Trump. You need to get into reality.

    2. @who hoo we are NOT A COUNTRY Of white nationalism. This belief is severely flawed. Please google how many americans that just happen to also be latino or black votes for trump. We are not victims. This race is a travesty and every american should be outraged at the cheating going on. By the left. It Don’t believe the hype

  9. Trump declaring he’s the winner & Pence followed him like a new born puppy after his mommy😠Pence should know better🤬

  10. A Federal Judge ordered the Post Office to deliver all ballots by 3pm election day.
    DeJoy defied that Court order.
    Why isn’t DeJoy arrested today?
If you or I defied a Court order from a Federal Judge, we would be sitting in prison this morning.

Why isn’t anyone talking about the millions of ballots that the Post Office failed or refused to deliver?
