  1. One of the greatest drummers and greatest guitarists dying in 2020, as if we needed more proof this year totally sucks…

    1. patr70 Can always count on a brain-washed moron to bring up politics at the most inappropriate times. This guy was a rock legend. No one was, or wants to, talk about your political bullsh*t.
Btw, genius…Eddie was a liberal. So is his brother, Alex. In fact, so are most rock musicians. You should stick with country.

    2. patr70 LMFAO. You think he (or most any) rock musician would vote for trump? Oh yeah, rock gods just love the GOP. HAHAHAHAHA. You just keep living in that bubble, little guy. Enjoy your Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. ๐Ÿคฃ

  2. 2020 is just awful. Eddie, I hope you know how many souls youโ€™ve touched with your music โค๏ธ You are oh so missed by your millions of fans and your beautiful family. Youโ€™re now rocking with Jimi, Randy, Dio, and many more rock Gods. Thank you for your time on Earth and sharing your talent with us all.

  3. I am so deeply saddened by this unfortunate news. Eddie the Rock Legend from my birth country. He was the ultimate Rock Guitarist the world has ever experienced. A true Legend. My heart goes out to his son and all the people close to him including all his fans. We are in mourning. RIP Eddie and thank you for all you have contributed to the music of Rock.

  4. The world loses one of the greatest guitarists of all time, but weโ€™ll never forget what he has accomplished in the rock industry! R.I.P. Eddie! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜”

    1. Of course not! It won’t be possible to forget, even if you tried.

The question is, who will play him in the first movie about his life?

  5. Eddie was my guitar hero as a young man. I met him when they were an unknown band playing small gigs. They played the Tarrant County Convention Center in my hometown of Ft. Worth, Texas. After the show band members mingled with the audience. I mentioned to Eddie I was an aspiring rock guitarist as well. To my delight he took me on stage and showed me a few licks to practice. How many massive talents are that gracious? I remember telling my buddies afterward that Van Halen was destined for greatness. One year later they were playing sold out arenas. I’ve never been in the presence of a more talented guitarist since. Rest In Peace, Eddie. And thanks for the guitar lesson, brother. I never forgot it. โคโคโค
