  1. This is true but what if it’s the president who thinks he’s a king, is the biggest promotor of misinformation in the country.

    1. @Alex xelA Been following your conversation with Pete and there is so much false statements. The “maidan” in Ukraine https://youtu.be/f_A5_1A_PjM were backed up with spetznas and Putins “young guards” I know you are from Russia, hope not you following Putins agenda, he is a “katsap” before he became president he was commander in chief for FSB placing bombs in Russia killing roskijs, blaming Chenya. (not talking about Beslan massacre, followed it on news and cried with the parents) And don’t get me wrong, I like Russia, NOT Putins agenda. One of my heros is Stanislav Petrov, Russ lived in east Ukraine. https://youtu.be/8TNdihbV5go and remember his name. Take care, stay healthy!!

    2. @Ken A I also respect ordinary Americans, but I have a very negative attitude towards American globalist politicians! And I am more than sure that all the evil that is happening in the world because of their policies (including in Russia) they will have to pay a high price (and of course it can affect their entire country) because we all live under God, and he spravedlivij and the world is arranged so that it always wins not strength and “muscles”, and truth and justice and I know she’s on the side of Russia. I am a deeply religious person and I speak from the heart-I trust Putin, I have been watching him since the 90s, I remember how he came to Moscow and held high positions, I won’t even argue with you about Ukraine and the Maidan (especially from the video you showed me) everything is so obvious there (with this shooting of police and civilians, with McCain and Kerry https://yandex.ru/images/search?from=tabbar&text=американские%20политики%20на%20майдане coming out on Khreshchatyk, encouraging protesters, like the American Ambassador to Victoria Nuland, as in 2014 the entire floor of the SBU was occupied by representatives of CIA https://ria.ru/20140413/1003749504.html etc. just as in the 90-ies Russia was trying to divide into small parts, tearing off first Chechnya, then Tatarstan, Bashkiria (at that time, American political programs and non-profit organizations were actively working in these republics) and further down the list, even in the Urals in the city of Yekaterinburg Governor Rossel, who harbored ideas to form the Ural Republic. I have closely followed the war in Chechnya and know how money and weapons were pumped in from Arab countries and not without the help of the CIA, how armed gangs were led by Arab mercenaries, one of them a well-known mercenary named Khattab, who, with the help of Basayev, organized an attack on a hospital in Budenovsk, then there was an attack on a school in Beslan, where 300 people were killed, including 180 children, then the seizure of the Nord OST theater in Moscow, explosions in the metro, and I remember how the investigation of house bombings in Moscow showed, how from the territory of Chechnya through the Stavropol territory were sent vans with bags in which sugar and RDX were mixed, and in Moscow in rented apartments (on the 1st floor) explosives were laid and houses were blown up along with all the residents of the https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Взрывы_жилых_домов_в_России_в_сентябре_1999_года I remember all this vividly. But I am surprised how you all mixed up in one pile and “feed” this false “porridge” to naive readers! What are you trying to prove? That in the American (and Western) media, information comes directly from the Lord (like the tablets to Moses on mount Zion)??? The West has already buried Russia in the 90s, and it has risen and all thanks to Putin, I believe this is the Providence of God in relation to Russia! I thank God that I live at the same time as Putin and that Russia is being resurrected before my eyes…

    3. @Alex xelA I did some research of the link of the images. The user have blocked goggle. Of course i can reach it but i don’t trust sources that’s not transparent.

    4. Jay Jacinto That you’re a nutty righty, who blames Obama, Soros, Clinton for why you’re such a failure in life.

  2. I still laugh at the fact that in 2016, t’rump was the guy who republicans thought would make us finally respect them. 😅😂🤣

    1. @Zach Addington That’s only because they are afraid of the virus, but also because they haven’t heard or listened to any of Biden’s policies, he won’t do interviews, take questions and hasn’t tried to debate trump yet. You will see after the debate, the old people will change, when they realize how bad Joe’s policies and the fact he’s going to be eaten alive.

    2. @Zach Addington doesn’t have to be curse words, sometimes its words like st*pid, r*tard, ect ect you get the point, it doesn’t have to be curse word, and each site is differnt. Basically anything they deem offensive or inappropriate.

  3. “. . . get your news from reliable sources . . .”
A ridiculously naive solution in an age of willful ignorance.
The real solution is a robust education system that teaches critical thinking from an early age.
That is why the GOP has been actively destroying public education for decades.

    1. @alex silent
And you are a Putin supporter.
Let’s see what happens when you have a following and stop supporting him.
How is life at the Internet Research Agency these days?
      Does Prigozhin pay well?

    2. @Sean Patrick You know… at first I thought that you are a reasonable man, because you said the right thing I fully agree with: “The real solution is a robust education system that teaches critical thinking from an early age.” But with only a dozen of posts you somehow managed to completely ruin my first impression about you.

    3. NO STAY AWAY YOU FREAKING TRAITOR! We do not need more confusion. THE IDEA YOU THOUGHT THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WOULD COME AFTER YOU IS RIDICULOUS AFTER THE HEARING WHERE OTHER WHISTLE BLOWERS TESTIFIED THEY DID NOT POST ANYTHING TO OTHER COUNTRIES OR RELEASE ANYTHING TO WIKI LEEKS! THEIR WAS NO EXCUSE FOR WHAT YOU DID! NO STAY AWAY! You could have testified like the others but you chose to do this and after you did this wiki leeks posted altered emails from Hillary clinton. YOU WERE USED AS A POSTER BOY FOR RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA…. where are you in RUSSIA! IF YOU COME BACK YOU WILL GO WHERE YOU BELONG JAIL! I cant not forgive you for what you did because it made no sense. NOW that AMERICA needs your expertise you are with those that will corrupt our elections. STAY AWAY!

    4. @alex silent
And at first I thought you were a puppet, easily influenced by propaganda. Pushing an agenda of promoting apathy in the US election.
I don’t have anything against Putin. He is just another conman selling a myth like all dictators.
If you aren’t FSB, I feel sorry for you.
But then again maybe I should envy your ability to live in willful ignorance bliss!

  4. “The solution to disinformation, is not to freak out that it exists, but to get your news from reliable sources and think critically about everything that you hear…..There is no way to ‘hack’ logic.”
    -Edward Snowden
This is why children and all levels of students NEED to be taught critical thinking and logic. It is a skill, it can be developed.

    1. @nsumlar,
I just thought of something that obama/biden did do for the people…
He let men go into little girls bathrooms if they were identifying as little girls

    2. Rand Kocher That’s not how exit polls work, and something so random and stupid is certainly not how Pew Research works. You’re constructing an argument based on some serious misunderstandings.

    3. @Rand Kocher disinformation/misinformation In it’s purest form. You sir should be ashamed of yourself for that filth that you have written.

    4. @kenneth burton,
      – We live in a World where 99% of ALL media ranges from subliminally, subtly, entirely, completely to outright fabricated Liberal fake news and it always has been.
      – I mention one American Conservative true criticism of a Liberal politician and you cry foul play?

    5. @Guy M,
Assuming you’re correct, what is it about rejecting the most successful freest Nation in history to return to the system of tyranny, corruption, cronnism, taxation without representation that the American colonists kicked to the curb 250 years ago that appeals to college educated people?

  5. “We fetishize individualism to the point that shared responsibility seems like oppression” – Samantha Bee.

    1. New Republicans: racism is always bad, log cabin republicans are great! babies lives matter, god is good, families matter, country should be respected, illegal illicit drugs are bad, addiction is a disease, capitalism is mostly good, violence is sometimes ok. Government should stay out of issues regarding race except for individual acts of hate crime. Foreign wars are bad. we should try to stay out of ancient tribal conflicts. Subsistence life style is good. Farmers are good. Energy independence is important. Globalism is bad. Sovereignty is important. Merit based immigration is smart. Vote security is smart. School choice/charter School and vocational schools are good. College is not critical to success and in many cases is a waste of valuable time and money. Good jobs matter. Free healthcare is impossible under a capitalist system. Non-profits and Religion affiliated hospitals like providence St. Pete’s should cover/wave bills for people who can’t pay. It should be a write off. 99.9 percent of police are heroes. America should be proud.

New Democrats: Black Lives Matter. racism is bad but not always, god is offensive and religion is stupid, socialism is good, drugs aren’t that bad, addiction is a disease. all white people are racist, killing babies is ok, violence is sometimes ok and preconceived notions based on skin color are normal. Gender is fluid. Government should keep detailed demographics records and involve itself in as many aspects of daily life as possible in order to help minority groups gain advantages based on skin color. Systemic racism is rampant and out of control. The police are killing black people whole sale for no reason. White men and their families stop democrats from gaining power. America must act as a world police force. Fossil fuels are bad. Energy independence is impossible. Globalism is inevitable and good. Borders are bad and racist. Open borders are good. Mail in vote is good. Public school is good because you can implement federal education programs on a massive level. STEM programs are more important than vocational school. Charter schools that operate outside the purvey of public system guidelines are not good. Capitalism is unfair. Tax payers should pay more to support the education of all people regardless of their interest in school or going to college or the likelihood of college leading to some sort of gainful employment. College is critical to success and should be paid for by tax payers. Healthcare is a right. socialist universal healthcare is good. America should be ashamed.

  6. Read his book to open your eyes: Permanent Record. Helped me protect myself online. And now the head of the NSA will work for Amazon in the private sector and use that to probably spy on citizens. Federal Courts declared Snowden’s publishing of his account was legal.

  7. “Study after study has show that human behavior changes when we know we’re being watched. Under observation, we act less free, which means we effectively *are* less free.”
    ― Edward Snowden

    1. Snowden is quite a philosopher. I am retired from the Army and not as smart as Snowden and did not do the kind of work Snowden did. But I read and signed the very same loyalty and non disclosure agreements he did. You can probably find them on the web? They are very explicit. Make no mistake. The Russians see that Snowden is housed in a nice apartment (if in Moscow) it’s probably an apartment? And, contrary, to what he said, maybe not LTC LTC Putin, but others are very much aware of him. They are not going to treat him badly. Quite, the contrary. They want more traitors like him. He is living very well by Russian standards. But he probably doesn’t speak Russian all that well. He’s probably tired about going to the mall for tea in the morning and beer in the afternoon. He wants to come come. But the Russians debriefed him with some statements they might not want him writing about? I understand he made an attempt to return but that it was not successful? If he does manage to come back there will be a prison term of no less than 10 years and a gag order that will send him right back to prison. However, for whatever reasons he he bame a traitor he had no right to do so. I honestly think that regarding his attempt to return home that it was blocked by our country. The powers that be, and I don’t mean Trump. Just, if you will, just dont want him back. Snowden is very adequately cared for in Russia. The Russians will always take care of a traitor as will we. He has medical care, dental care, an apt, a decent stipend. But he is unhappy there. He’s depressed and want to come home. But if his depression gets bad enough, Snowden might take his life. Now. Maybe the Russians will give him some help with accomplishing that end? But make no mistake, those in the intelligence community probably don’t want him back under any cirvumstances. The Russians are very understanding of such matters. But on Monday thru Thursday movie houses are half price and every 10th movie is free. But that’s out with COVID19. His love life there is probably limited to retired ladies or gentlemen? But America does not want him back, pobably?🇺🇸

    2. “When we know we’re being watched…”
If someone thinks they are being watched, they will act to cover up their activities and that alerts the authorities more -“Why is this person going out of their way to hide on-line? Avoids closed circuit camera systems? Always pays in cash? Lives off the grid? When they didn’t do it before…?
I pity whoever is watching me and my in-line presence or cellphone activity. I guess they are being punished door something really awful.

    3. @MatchstalkMan Nice post from the heart. Mr. Snowden, so he says, acted in an altruistic manner. However, his rationalization for as to what he admits to doing some flaws. Actually, quite a few. But I will mention only two. And they are not in order. Secondly, he purportedly made a considerable amount of money from a book? I dont know exactly what is in the book? But among other things he may have written something about his intentions? A written rationalization to himself and his fans will not have the same effects upon the government. Second, although Snowden was a contractor he took the very same oaths that I did. Suffice it to say that he knew very well all that he did was forbidden, punishable by more laws than I can remember, and he had specific intent to take what he took by stealth. Is Mr. Snowden in a lot of trouble? More, than I can comprehend. He claims he wants to come home but that he want a civil trial in U.S. Court? Yes? No way to put it but he is in a lot of trouble. The Gov’t is a punitive organization. Anybody, know what kind of an answer he got, if any regarding a trial in federal court. D.C. has criminal lawyers that deal with espionage even though old Mr. Catcharis died. Also, he might as well keep running his mouth because he really cant dig himself any deeper than he he already is. If Trump thinks that pardoning him might help him win the election, but it would probably hurt him, he should take it immediately. But he has not been convicted of anything unless it was in absentia? But if Mr. Snowden does not want to spend a long long time in prison? He should make learning Russian his top priority. God what a mess!🇺🇸

  8. “Arguing that you don’t care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don’t care about free speech because you have nothing to say.”
    ― *Edward* *Snowden*

    1. If you are arguing that the NET is a private communications you are indeed wrong. You are paying a public provider, on public search engines to publicly find someone else’s information that they have granted access to on public servers. So everything on the NET is public between strangers and that is why I understand the need for things such as the NSA to protect children and prevent acts of terrorism.
*privacy between family & friends behind close doors, yes is & should be protected.*

    2. Well, there is no denying that whatever is on the internet is embedded into the server, but the question is can we trust them

  9. I like how he talks. I definitely agree with Snowden’s last statement. He was speaking straight up and down truth.

    1. he knows he’s being recorded for national news.. you think that’s the real deal there?… “people are morons”– guess who..

    1. I found the American comment. The guy sends a great message of caution and unity…. and you saw a character from a TV show.
