  1. Fascism is a far-right theory of government that opposes the political philosophies of the Enlightenment and the 19th century, including democratic liberalism, communism, and socialism. That describes the Trump party perfectly!

    1. Threw the use of mob violence….. now whose using mob violence again ?
Also the Enlightenment comes from the 17th century….
Ugh nevermind you Americans know nothing and will never know nothing that isn’t American focused.

    2. Peter Pan. I’ve seen many examples of mob violence at trump rallies. And even when they don’t devolve into actual assaults, the violence is all there in the rhetoric. I don’t really even think it’s controversial anymore to call Trump fascist, he just is, if he would just crack the dictionary and look it up (and understand the definition), he’d think so too.

  2. Australia has done 2.7 million tests
Arizona has done 0.8 million tests

    Australia has had 9,000 cases
    Arizona has had 105,000 cases

Australia has had 106 deaths IN TOTAL
    Arizona had 117 deaths TODAY

    Australia is almost fully reopen
    Arizona is shutting down again

The Republican strategy of protecting the stock market, has led to 1000’s of unnecessary deaths and untold economic damage in the long run!

    1. @Paul Wilson New Zealand has a population of 5 million. They have done 417,000 tests and only have 1,536 cases with 22 deaths.

It’s not just Australia. You can compare these states to pretty much every country in the world and it look like this. Compare Florida or Texas to Germany. Compare New York to the UK. US states are not seeing case numbers because of the amount of testing they’re doing, they’re seeing high case numbers because they have high case numbers.
As for Arizona shutting down. Yes it is. 8 days ago they shut down bars, movie theaters, gyms and water parks. Whilst other places are fully reopening, Arizona is shutting down businesses for a 2nd time because they ignored scientists and listened to Trump!

    2. @spritals Look on the worldometer website, there’s all kinds of comparisons you can make between US states and other countries which proves Trumps lies.

  3. Texas: 206,000 cases
    Germany: 198,000 cases

    Texas: 2.4 million tests
    Germany: 5.9 million tests

Trump “The only reason why we have so many cases is because we’ve done so much testing”

    1. @Atheism Kills Texas had 63 deaths yesterday, while Germany had 6. Germany’s earlier death count occurred in winter and spring, when we knew much less about how to treat the virus.

    2. @Elmosweed Except that everyone who contacts COVID, even the so-called asymptomatic, have long term lung damage. The death rate is between 1 and 5%. The hospitalization rate is 15 – 20%. A large number of those not hospitalized are incapacitated for weeks or months. Weird definition of “just fine.”

    3. @Elmosweed Yeah ,
AMERICANS you have all Particapted in a simulation of what an Authortarin Plutocracy takeover of your Government will look like.
LET THIS BE A WARNING 😂😜
      VOTE DEMOCRACY !
Vote vote vote & vote !

  4. Would this be a good time to mention again that Mnuchin is refusing to disclose where over $500 billion in bailout money went until after the elections in November? Odd that he would pick that month of all month’s. 🤔 🙄👎

    1. “we’ll tell you where it all went when we’re gone”
December 2020- “we took it all haha!”

    2. Munichin was a Sleazbag of a banker who profited off the MBS Collapse by tossing people into the street.
Notice how all Trump’s choices were the scumiest people available .

  5. It’s not going to hurt kids to skip school this fall. If they start sending them back in August *that* will be dangerous

    1. @patricia casillas You got that right Patricia. In 2019 Joe Biden unveiled a wide-ranging K-12 and early education plan, targeted to increasing teacher pay, providing universal pre-K and leveling the playing field between rich and poor school districts.
He aims to close a massive funding gap between majority white and non-white school districts by spending $45 billion on federal grants to low-income districts under the Title I program. That would be nearly triple the current level.

  6. So glad to hear El Paso is coping so well. By the way, the surge is a result of your utter failure to observe CDC guidelines in favor of following your president, and your total lack of ability to lead. The whole world can see your complete failure. I wonder how that feels…

    1. science illiterates and climate denialists.. these old enfeebled White Christian Nationalists …diet- lite fascist ideation. fortunately- these #okboomer ‘s will be dying off and leaving the planet. Good rRddance….

    2. TheBeteljuice Why can’t Trump conquer the virus ? Trump has magical powers and he is the 2nd coming of Christ.

      Auckland. NZ

    1. @Tessmage Tessera Exactly! I don’t think he’s settled with any States. Hasn’t even for paid his Inauguration.

    2. @Erica Yarnell Not that his inauguration would have cost all that much. Did you see that pathetic parade..? A bunch of tractors, baton twirlers and some nitwit who was frantically banging on pots and pans for an hour.

    3. Tessmage Tessera
He spent 3 million on inauguration and got “3 doors down” for music. That should have told us what was coming.

    4. @Bob Courtier I’m sorry, but the cultists, made me do this…..and President Obama, had Beyonce

    1. I told people back then , wait until TX needs $$$
Trump will fly it there personally on Air Force 1 !

    2. $140 Billion for testing and tracing went to trump. He fired the Oversight Committee and said;”we do’t need testing”, last week. Where is that $140 BILLION, YES BILLION $$$.

  7. Even if I agree or disagree with their politics please protect these reporters trying to bring us the news

  8. At least Republicans after 7 fkn months are saying “Please wear a mask to save American lives” ..Even when they do not follow their own guidelines…It is a first step

  9. “Well now we have more cases than we can deal with but I’m just going to stand here and bulls**t to you!”

  10. Mr. Mayor, don’t throw shade at Mexico’s testing capacity and strategies. Glass houses and all. 😏

  11. Trump needs to resign before more lives are lost. Vote Blue in november for real leadership we can trust!!

    1. We need to rid our Nation of the GOP 🚽🚽🚽👻 !
      A CANCER PARTY.
      VOTE BIDEN !
      VOTE DEMOCRACY !

  12. They’re short, because Dump came and didn’t pay his bills. Rallies he never paid for police/fire/city support.

    1. not his job to pay states bills… you comment is moronic… state and local governments pay for the services you listed

    2. @Paul Wilson Why call names? El Paso billed the Trump campaign for the costs associated with his rally there in Feb 2019. As of Oct 2019 the city had had no response from the campaign and the bill of $569,204.63 for police and public safety services associated was still outstanding.
