Electrifying journey: Cross-Canada drive in under 5 days

Harvey Soicher wanted to prove it was possible to go on a cross-country trip in an electric vehicle and last week, he proved it was possible to do it in a matter of days.

Soicher, an electric vehicle enthusiast, took his Audi e-tron from St. John's to Victoria – a journey that included two ferry rides and four time zones – and he did it all in four days, 18 hours and 30 minutes.

  1. I would rather not support the detrimental environmental impacts electric cars cause to the environment from battery processing and rare earth metal mining

    1. @GNR 1978 Forever im from sudbury -20 most winter days.. -40+ other days. How is that battery where do you charge… big city little town?
