  1. Here’s an idea. Let’s make voting a human right in America and bring back the whig party or the Free soil party and outlaw the GOP 🤣🤣🤣

    1. If ya brought back the old Democrat Party….they would have to break out the white robes and hoods yo…not to mention the slaves….oh the slaves honey. They thought Lincoln was a stinker.

    2. @R L T First off, what are you rambling on about 🤔 and secondly you do realize that the Democrats and Republicans were at one time one party that was not in power during slavery.

    3. @R L T Yeah, the old Democrat Party doesn’t need to be brought back, because it still exists.

They call themselves Republicans these days. Lincoln spins in his grave.

    4. @Doug Ohaver You Tube is way too complicated for you Dougie. Maybe you should return to Facebook hon. Geez….bring up those white robes and hoods and old Doug gets all defensive. That is so sweet. If flat out owning slaves would give Democrats more power in 2021…..they would be offered on E-Bay for sure. Spin away sweetie…nobody believes you.

  2. Completely disgusting. Gross misuse of power and the lies of the Republicans still rolling over the entire country

    1. Have you ever seen Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown grow old enough to vote in a presidential election? Me neither.

    1. Says the side with a dozen Representatives including the entire Progressive (socialist) group calling for the dissolution of the US. How out of touch can you get. Maybe you heard of Representative Omar??

    2. @Terry R Then why is America First “evil and xenophobic”. Haven’t been paying attention or just doing a lot of lieing??

    3. @Roman Caruso So true. The only solution is a constitutional convention with the number one priority of enacting term limits as an amendment to the constitution. The Swamp is deep and needs draining.

    4. @ckaz007 I believe the true solution is to take money out of politics altogether stops the corruption, the greed, the self serving, politicians no longer have to cater to campaign donors, lobbyists etc etc

  3. The GOP know if this legislation is pass, Republicans will never win or get control of the white house ,the Senate or the house.

    1. I think Democrats can still fortify the election the way they did in 2020, per time magazine article on 2/4 ..

    2. This is also why Republicans fight elimination of the Electoral College and Gerrymandering tooth and nail: elections would be won by the peoples’ choice instead of the party’s choice.

    3. Nobody will have to ever worry. Beijing Biden could have his CCP boss Emporer Xi print and mail a billion ballots and they would all count. Every single one. Stop being so gullible.

  4. HR-1 is to stop the corrupt GOP from voting suppression.
    NO MORE STEALING ELECTION.
    Simple as that America

  5. Meanwhile, how to suppress voters in a vain effort to maintain power is what keeps the republican party up at night. 🙄

    1. If you didn’t vote in 20 days of early voting you never meant to. Evenly distributing ballot boxes, closing at 8 instead of 9, and those other nothing changes will not change that.

    2. @SPZ Aruba Alternatively, republicans don’t have policies that attract voters, so to win, their strategy is to prevent people from voting against them.

  6. “There’s no English equivalent for silovik. It doesn’t translate succinctly because to create something as Machiavellian as a silovik requires both the KGB and the GRU, and then a shift from communism to capitalism, followed by a gear-grinding reverse into despotism.”
    ― Tanya Thompson, Red Russia

This is currently the process the Republican party is engaging in today.

  7. brilliantly said, ty both. this must end, the gqp wants to drag us back to the pre-civil rights and pre-voting rights acts.

    1. I’m not worried much.. I think Democrats can still fortify the election the way they did in 2020, per time magazine article on 2/4 ..

  8. I think everyone should be allowed one vote, including felons. If a felon has served their sentence than why should they not have representation. “Oh you want murderers and rapists allowed to vote?” Yes. If you pay taxes you should be allowed to vote. When your sentence is over it should be over. This has always just been a way to suppress minority votes. It’s why drug convictions became felonies. Also, if felons voting is so threatening, why are there so many felons? Unfair laws? Privilege? Attempts to keep some people in their place.

  9. Isn’t it ironic?
The people who screamed rigged election, are rigging future elections?
Yah, l really do think …

  10. Republican voters, “If it doesn’t effect me then it’s no big deal.” This is why these types of people continue to get put back into power.. If someone truly cares about this country they would never put in power anyone on ANY side that wants to take away Democracy from any of it’s citizens…

    1. Maybe if they voted for their constituents best interest , instead of lining their pockets with money & promises of great jobs later from the top 1%, more of their constituents would choose to vote for them. I know, run on sentence.

  11. I must say that I am EXTREMEY proud to be one of the very few MSNBC viewers left.
    Think about that you haters

  12. If you believe voting is difficult — and can somehow be made more difficult — please don’t procreate
