Trump is done after this demonstration of selfishness and stupidity.

    • @Rosemary Briscoe What do you think the point of holding a bible awkwardly in front of a church was? What statement do you think he was trying to send?

Why do you not hold Trump to the standard of “mixing politics and their political party into Christians (sic) Worship”? Why do you allow him to do it but say others should not?

And where did Michael Curry say that Jesus, or the very non-Jesus Trump, would be denied entrance to the church? What made you write that?

P.S. It’s not necessary to put an exclamation point (!) at the end of every sentence. It actually devalues the extraordinary when everything is extraordinary – it becomes the norm, and thus commonplace.

    • @Rosemary Briscoe Looks like trumpie convinced you that the bleach and disinfectant injections will help.

      Exodus 21:20-21
20 “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property.

People of all faiths and skins should hold hands and join a human chain around the entire white house as the nuclear protesting women did in Britain.

If you have military that could band with other military to fight against the dictatorship of Donald Trump the GOP and the rich! Please send them please get them so we can save our democracy! We are being killed and suppressed and being made slaves to the rich the GOP and to trump! Please coordinate anybody you can to help fight against the US military that is trying to suppress its own people! We have never been in this situation before and we wish we were never in this situation! Yet the US decided it was the ruler of the world for Democracy but yet the US has decided there’s no more democracy and has become a dictatorship! Please we beg of you to contact your leaders and other leaders of other nations to help us US citizens fight for our democracy with military force!

  6. Is there any way that St John’s can legally block GOP & election campaign ads from using the images that show the church?

    • susanne chakan | June 3, 2020 at 3:50 PM | Reply

@Match Boxguy that would be the way…yes!

    • look into that

    • caribbeanbbc | June 3, 2020 at 8:55 PM | Reply

      @Kevin Warriner
Actually no, there is no way that the church can block the use of the image because as despicable as Trump’s stunt was the copyright of the image rest with photographer and not the church and as a public accessed place no permission was necessary from the church unless it was taken within the property rather than standing in front of it as he did.

    • @The Lions Cub… He is NO Christian period!!…

    • David Carver | June 4, 2020 at 5:30 PM | Reply

@Tom Jones Conservative evangelicals. The Episcopal Church is a Mainline Protestant denomination, and a notably liberal one at that. They are not Trump’s base.

@James Ricker Yes James, I am happy that people are beginning to see their hypocrisy, and again other people who have realized their use of religion for political gain have left religion and Christianity, another reason for the decline in the Christian community. Thank you for your honesty, praying that more people who vote republican will see this and change.

I believe he’s actually the man of perdition who will make way and promote the anti-Christ. I’ll be following closely what happens in the next decade.

    • @angel benejan Wait, I thought he IS the anti-christ! That’s what I’ve been lead to believe.

  9. The Rev. Robert W. Fisher, the church rector : “We want St. John’s to be a space for grace, as a place where you can breathe,” George Floyd : “I can’t breathe” Trump’s little photo-opportunity using tear gas…the protestors “Neither can we”

  10. Trump was so visually uncomfortable being there he couldn’t even walk the steps and quote a passage from the bible.

  11. “BUNKER BOY” is dead is to us. We have no POTUS.

@Mike G It’s funny that you don’t know that our current Beloved President has spent more than twice as much time playing golf than his predecessor. If it hadn’t been for the whole coronavirus thingy getting in the way of his time on the links, he had been on pace to play more in 4 years than the Evil One played in 8.

No Impeached forever and ever Amen. The Senate did not remove him. Not even close to whatever you think an acquittal is. I presume you love Trump. You might notice. Clinton, impeached. even though the Senate did not punish or remove either. Bit hard for your Brain. it is so small. Trump Impeached First term! !! That’s the best he could do… for now.

    • Pamela Scott | June 4, 2020 at 8:16 PM | Reply

I’ve been saying we have no potus since they said he was elected. And that’s because Russia helped with this. Therefore…..he cheated and therefore we dont have a potus and never have had one since that election. The orange thang is a talk show host and a corrupt businessman who bankrupted 6 times. That’s all he is.

FYI; We had very peaceful protest here in Mem, TN until Sunday night 5-31, when combat units released CS teargas into our crowd. Lots of seniors involved. Units caused pandemonium, unrest and fear.Should have been handled much better. ☮️
