  1. This administration has zero empathy for the people of this country. They should be working for US, but they continue to only work for themselves.

    1. UltraVioletPilot be careful. I thought the same about bush w. And then trump came along. Trump is an absolute monster. I’m afraid of what could be worse.

    2. @J you are wrong. I heard the wall is getting built to keep the swamp full of the same people he said he wouldn’t use if elected. Problem is most 45 supporters highlighted their homework with a black highlighter. Why else would they think what they say is true. Just look at the latest change in govts. Mission statement after Jarrod Kushners last news conference.

    3. I let’s see Trump’s first response was to cut taxes and interest rates to booster the stock market, will starting a campaign to minimize the threats and danger to the public. He refused test kits offered by the WHO, and delayed testing while American companies were slated to produce the tests (the first batch was faulty) he consistently lied to the public, despite the fact that the CIA, NSA, and CDC warned him as early as December about the severity and danger of a pandemic. He had already cut funding for the pandemic response unit, and ignored the pandemic response plan from the Obama administration. His denials, claims that it was a Democratic hoax, all contributed to the delayed response and the subsequent crash of the stock market. Regarding the most recent aberration, he released military and FEMA equipment to private wholesalers to sell and profit by. His lack of coordination, and planning has led to states bidding for these same products against each other, and FEMA. Trump’s “wish” that the country get back to normal by Easter could have subverted the relief package, and a resurgence of the pandemic could destroy the country’s economy completely, with no remedy. Finally I don’t approve of the “pork” put into the bill by either party, but the $500 billion for corporate bailouts, was far in excess of the Democrats proposals, and they could be knocked out in conference committee. Finally, while this bill is costly, what would be the cost of bankruptcies and foreclosures in the future? The 2008 bank bailout was devastating to the economy, and that was only brought on by the overextended bank debt, the banks are even bigger (too big to fail) and there are other aspects of the economy at stake, and a contributing factor if the economy fails this time. The last recession came close to a full depression, if this crashes, there will be no ability to prevent it. This solution will be costly, but the alternative could be devastating. So I believe that I have countered your concerns Mr. J

    1. First, I would like to thank all those brave people risking their lives on the forefront of this crisis. Your courage is exemplary, and we’re sorry that we can’t do more. Mr. Case, if you believe it’s a hoax, then I suggest you volunteer at New York City’s hospitals, you may be able to lose the bodies into the refrigerator trucks. You’re a real POS that wouldn’t be missed.

    2. @Matthew Case
Trump just tweeted. He wants( you) his cult to volunteer at any New York Hospitals without a mask or gloves. He said you would be perfectly safe.
      Leave now.

    1. @J – Thank God? What about all the hard working laid off workers who lost their health insurance with their jobs!?! WTF?

    2. @Kath Casey Like me? I’m a contractor at public works.. We are doing great actually.. Unemployment check came on time and we are getting a bonus from Trump on the 14th. Add EBT and I make way more now then I did a few weeks back. Public health care covers all testing and treatment options so we are good. It’s like free tax payer sponsored spring break for me until we go back to work.

    3. @J Uh huh. Good for you, but what about the 8 million people waiting to process claims ? How long is it going to take to get that money ? Rent and costs vary greatly across the US, many will be unable to afford basic needs even after receiving. Not including the medical costs having no health benefits from unemployment.

    4. @DarkKnightTrinity No idea.. Everyone I work with has already started getting checks. I worry more about the damage this is doing to our economy. Inflation and such ya know? Hospitals and rent will not do us any good once the US dollar fails to retain any value.

    1. @J Why would anyone believe you ? You can’t prove it. Move on you’re just a pos on the world.

    2. J why do you insist on defending the indefensible? Are you REALLY that stupid or just that delusional. More than half the governor’s do not have adequate testing available, NY has the most critical situation and Trump is trying to imply equipment is going out the back door. His response has been too late and not enough. He had adequate notice from three agencies CIA, NSA, and CDC in December, possibly earlier. He was left with the pandemic response plan from the Obama administration. All these he ignored, and his refusal to accept the test kits offered by the WHO further delaying testing. So stop with the deflections and excuses, everyone knows his incompetence has exacerbated the problem, this time it isn’t just costing money, this time it’s costing lives and by the time this is over it may number over one hundred thousand. There are no excuses, he lied, spread misinformation, and failed to plan, and coordinate any most importantly delayed response until it couldn’t be controlled. We already have more than 25% of the world’s cases, and we’re still rising, and that’s without adequate testing. So stop with the garbage, Trump’s incompetence is obvious to anyone with a functioning brain cell. With thousands of cases, and hundreds dead, Trump was bragging about his T.V. Ratings, what kind of man does that? Certainly not a president.

    1. Blame Americans voter, when he ran as Republican voters send him as nominee again Hillary Clinton and both are bad, where are the smart and caring peoples.

    2. I knew, I’m 43 and I never liked this guy I used to watch miss America when I was a child I found him creepy back then only watched apprentice twice he is way to arrogant for me…

    3. Ms. Amdt, in 2017 Trump waived the fines on five banks, including Deutsche Bank, their fine was $640 million. Trump owed Deutsche, between $150-$330 million. Alan aka fang, if you don’t believe hospitals are full try NY City hospitals, I’m sure you can volunteer to help out the bodies into the refrigerator trucks. You’re a moron.

    1. At least Bernie was honest about how much money it was going to cost each person. I probably won’t be able to buy shoes but I will have healthcare.

    2. @Cat VanSancina the usa can afford a proper healthcare system if they didnt spend so much on wars and paying israel

    3. @ATG IMM I agree and have know that for years. Will giving money away to foreign countries or ever going to stop? Has Bernie ever said that? Bernie just told us how much each of us will have to pay out of our pockets.

    1. Trump’s a sociopath, if his whole family was killed his first response would be “how can I turn this to my advantage? Can I use the sympathy to get re-elected” ? He’d also be out out by having to hold the funerals. He really has no conscience.

    2. @Kath Casey The house tried to impeach him but Mitch and the other republicans in the senate had no spine. The 25th amendment requires the president’s own cabinet and vice president to start the process so there is no way that will happen. Regular everyday citizens only hope is to vote him out in November or to storm the White House with pitchforks. We have no option for a vote of no confidence in our constitution.

    1. God is punishing New York and USA for the sins of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Trump is a pathological Narcissistic liar, unable to face reality. Pence? If you know Roman history, think of Sejanus. If you know modern history, think of Wilhelm Keitel (Hitler), Roy Cohn (Joe McCarthy), and Mitch “Magoo” McConnell, Kellyanne Conway, and Donald Trump, Jr.

    1. The 1% will lose control that’s why. Every 1st World Country has National Health Care and America does not.

    2. No brain so they can’t be brainwashed. If fox news says so thats all they need, all the thinking done for them just like going to church. Worse than zombies cause they can vote and carry guns.

    3. The public is not scared of it. The health insurance companies are blocking universal healthcare, because it puts them out of business. It is all about money and capitalism. Healthcare should be for everyone with everyone contributing towards it, including businesses. Then it is paid for.

    4. Its all about money. They use the “extra taxes paid” as a scare tactic. When in reality its all about the money these politicians, dems or reps, get from big insurance companies. I could literally pay for a second home for what my health insurance costs for my family.

  2. Americans y’all crazy the fact you let your government get away without providing national health care. America is a 3rd world country!

    1. Medicare for all? Bernie Sanders anyone? Lol.. Americans elect morons, Bernie has no chance with a dumb electorate like America.

    2. just wait when the farm workers’ bodies pile up. Just visit Immokalee, Fla . They can’t get sick. Go sick to work and infect others. Without their backbraking wwork there would be no food.

    3. @Daniel Thompson, so true so sad. We were sold a bunch of lies, you see we are Christian country so we tend to believe in myths such as “I get to keep more of my own money” a bigger paycheck than my counterpart in Canada, Europe, Australia, etc. and I’m supposed to sort of negotiate my own health care deals in many cases, well we’re are in for a rude awakening sadly.

    1. The southern public schools, and much of rural America, have been teaching propaganda for over 100 years. These racist morons where primed for FAUX news propaganda to come along

  3. QUESTION: What’s the best way to lose 30% of the value of your 401K?

    ANSWER: Elect a Republican President.

    1. crusher?…when you were born , you said : “I’m never going near one of those ever again”

    2. @Vagina Crusher I pity you…incel is not a life style…try the loving touch of a real , live woman…would do your tiny , little blackened heart a world of good

    3. Vagina crushed ( yeah, right) let’s see we had the Reagan/Bush recession, the Bush recession, and now Trump, the recoveries were Clinton, Obama, so tell me HOW are you telling someone to shut up? Republicans seem to have a problem with the facts. They give tax cuts, but it only seems to benefit corporations and billionaires, then the Democrats have to clean up the mess. Anyone who mentions trickle down economics, or supply side economics, should have their mouths washed out with soap. EVERY time that has been an excuse to boost the economy, has resulted in recessions.

    2. @Juan Vélez Sejanus. Hahaha. The Caesars 1969 Granada TV (on YT now)
      I don’t see Mike Pants as a Francis Underwood/Sejanus type arch-manipulator.
He calls his wife ‘Mother’ and she calls him ‘Father’.

    1. Medicare for all? Bernie Sanders anyone? Lol.. Americans elect morons, Bernie has no chance with a dumb electorate like America.

  4. All countries that have a single payer healthcare system are going to rebound from this a hundred times faster than the U.S.

    1. It will overwhelm nearly all healthcare systems.
Agree that many more in the US will be bankrupt.

    2. In Britain we have the National Health Service which will cost you no money for treatment as it’s part of our taxes. It’s not rocket science to most countries in the world, barring America a country that takes self interested and wilful ignorance to another level. Remember you’re founding oligarchs

  5. You are not a back up! This is a attack on the country that you are the president. Its not the States sole problem to handle. We really need a President of the United States. This man is the President of the racist and some republicans. shame on you republicans for letting this man destroy our country.

  6. Just come live in The Netherlands, where open heart surgery costs 380 euro’s total and where corona care is free.
