@biff binford According to what Swalwell brought up and added to the record during the last hearing – it sounds like *Nunes,* who’s been working with these recently arrested and indicted American-Ukranian friends of Giuliani (those who have been indicted for funnelling hundreds of thousands of dollars from foreign donors to Republican congressmembers, for lobbying to get US anti-corruption oriented Ambassador out of the picture), on Nunes’ own “investigative work” in Ukraine – he might very well have to be a fact witness.
Not making any definitive claims, but given that Lev Parnas turned state witness, and his lawyer is now stating his client helped Nunes with his own shady dealings in Ukraine last year, and Nunes + 3 of his aides even billed over $60.000 of expenses for doing so to American taxpayers… Well, small wonder he wants to discredit and muddy this Congressional investigation, and get it over with quick. It at least _appears_ as Nunes was *personally and physically* involved in this extortion scheme himself, and took foreign donation of value in his official capacity, and _very possibly_ acted as a foreign agent.
