@Tim Countis : Not really sure how what you quoted from the times negates anything I wrote but Google the article “Prosecutors investigating Trump organization zero in on Trump CFO Allen Weisselberg ” by Peter Elkind for ProPolitica dated Nov 21, 2019.. It will confirm everything I told you including that Vance opened his investigation in August 2018, made a courtesy call to SDNY to let them know and was asked to stand down because they were doing a similar investigation. In July 2019 the judge assigned to oversee the investigation being done by SDNY told Vance it was no longer active, at which point he restarted his. It even details the rift between Vance and the Feds (not SDNY) were he accused the Feds of deliberately delaying his investigation in order to help Trump run out the clock on the statute of limitations in regards to some of the potential crimes.
