I think if you’ve been told by people you look up to, to believe in a certain individual or mindset, and everyone around you believes in it, then the flow of information – especially for people who are taught never to question what they’re told – only goes in one direction. People voted for the person who used keywords that made them feel heard – whether it was a lie or the truth didn’t matter – even if that vote hurts someone else in the process, which wasn’t an option because they’d been fed bs so many times that bs is all they could see and believe in…. and we all know the longer you smell or see something, the easier our brain shuts it off and no longer sense it, even if everyone else around you can.
I’m in no way EXCUSING any of it. At all. But I’ve seen how people tumble down this very tiny tunnel-vision-esque hole, and are now finding themselves at the bottom, either not sure what to believe, or clinging to the only thing they CAN believe in. It’s just easier to go further down the cave, than climb out of it and back into the light. And it’s sad. Very sad.

Further, when Trump’s own lawyers get to court, they admit that there is nothing there. That’s why they keep losing in court. People put all kinds of videos online. That doesn’t make them reliable evidence.
