That’s the name of the game. It always has been. The only thing new about Murdoch is his willingness to LIE for money and get his employees to LIE too!. Otherwise, he’s just entertaining his target audience and using ratings to sell advertising airtime the way every other TV network does.
It’s not just TV networks either. Murdoch also owns newspapers, both reputable and disreputable, including the trashy UK tabloid “The Sun” which often publishes sensational articles — the newspaper equivalent of lying for money.

@Morning Eml Sure as long as you don’t pass it around, then we don’t have a problem with you taking the vaccine or not. And vaccine does not prevent anyone from catching it. One can still get sick from it but albeit less severe and get better faster. Did you take into account of the fact that people who are vaccinated still do not want to catch it? Of course you are ok to let everyone catch it. You don’t care that they don’t want it in the first place, do you?

I’ve tried my best to empathetically talk some sense into Trumpist antivaxxers and they simply refuse to either listen to me or visit websites I point them to where medical experts confirm what I am telling them. They long ago chose to believe the conspiracy theories and they believe a medical expert who gives any information against those conspiracy theories to be part of some plot. I think that the only people who might be able to get through to them are previous antivaxxers who have suffered through a horrible case of Covid-19 and have changed their minds. Unfortunately, all the antivaxxers who have died from the virus can’t speak to them because, if they could, that would be the most convincing testimony.
