Their is a long history of people running for president FROM INSIDE JAIL, America has no law that bars a person from being a candidate for president so long as they meet the constitutional age and natural-born citizenship requirement (and personally I think the 15th amendment removed all privilege’s of natural-born over naturalized citizens). The only effect on Trumps chance to run in 2024 is public perception.
