Examining how the media is covering Joe Biden

President Donald Trump keeps saying the media is asking Democratic presidential candidate Biden softball questions. A reporter covering Biden, Edward-Isaac Dovere of the Atlantic, responds.

    1. @Matt Taylor / BREAKING NEWS: Fox News has received a tape recording of Kamala Harris; very first political endorsement, from the former Mayor of San Francisco – Willie Brown. Here is the transcription of the endorsement…

“Oh yeah, Baby…[garbled] down on that! Whew! Oh yeah, your gonna go a long way in politics….Oh yeah…l’ll see to that! ….Ohh Willy….how bout that right there?….. Oh yeah, you know how to do that. You know! Where did you learn…[garbled]…stuff? Oh yeah, i need for you to tutor the wife like you did your other bosses Wife…..I Def ENDORSE YOU, for anything! For everything! You are one naughty naughty girl (garbled)!”

    1. My father had Alzheimer’s so I’ve seen this before. I’m sure Biden’s a great man. On Wednesdays at about 4 right after medication

    2. @Britt CNN are Far Left activists working for the radical liberals. Socialism does not work. Joe Biden is a very weak candidate. I”m a democrat voting for Trump.

    1. I usually wouldn’t even read a comment by someone who used the dog as their face. Usually you guys are way the hell out there on cloud 14 but that was funny

    1. Better yet, Trump should stop answering questions. He isn’t a very good answerer🤣🤣🤣. When he gets called out on his lies, he says, that’s just such a nasty question. Ok, fair question, for a nasty man, who committed a nasty crime.

    1. Bubba Wallace: “There’s a noose in my garage!”
      CNN screams racism

FBI: “We’ll scramble 15 agents to investigate today!”

Tom Fitton: “The Mueller team destroyed 31 work phones to hide their tracks in 2018!”
      CNN: crickets

FBI: “Sorry, we’re busy at an Intersectionality training class.”

    1. @Josh Dun – Really? Are you being silly? The politically correct term is African-American. However, if you prefer to use the term “Black,” then that is up to you. Also, the person (K.Peake) above said that, “Trump clearly cares less about blacks.” Thus, I was asking him if that was his assertion, then why has President Trump done so many things for their community and provided a list of facts (with website links to back it up)?

Also, I’m a longtime registered and voting Democrat for over 25 years and not a Republican. Sorry, but you are wrong again.

As well, as you stated above, “black unemployment decreased under Obama by 53%..” That is incorrect. Look here at the Bureau of Labor Statistics for “Black or African American Unemployemnt Rate” starting on January 2009 (when Obama became President) it was at 12.7% and by the end of President Obama’s term it was at 7.9% in December 2016. Thus, President Obama brought the Black unemployment rate down a difference of 4.8% (and not 53% as you stated above) in his eight years in office. Who taught you math? Then, under President Trump he dropped it down to 5.4% as of August 2019, which is a “historical low unemployement rate for Blacks and African Americans.” Here is the link to the chart for the Bureau of Labor Statistics for “Black and African American unemployement rate.” You may have to adjust the timeframe to give you data from 2009-2020 and then click on the “Go” button: https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000006

And yes, now because of the Coronavirus, it has effected the global economy. Also, because we have U.S. State Governors that still have imposed COVID-19 restrictions on certain businesses that are not allowed to open or have more that 25% in-business customers, then these restrictions have impacted “Black and African American” unemployment. So it sounds like you are the one that shouldn’t “cherry pick” facts as you put it.

    2. If you watch major news networks and don’t question some of the stories, then you are simple. If you watch fox and don’t say WTF outloud you are beyond simplistic.

    3. @DesertGuy69 I am saddened for you. There’s no such thing as “African American” it’s American or Black American- (fun fact) the first set of Africans came to the us well over 400+ years ago therefore their descendants aren’t African but rather Black Americans some of whom have decendants from the Caribbean and not Africa. Just like you aren’t referred to as ‘European American because you aren’t European you’re American or ‘ White American’, by the way I don’t know why I have to explain this, because clearly you missed understood me when I said ” Aren’t black Americans, Americans to”.

Now to get you the facts- Whatever Trump did for Black Americans shouldn’t be praised like it’s some unthinkable thing, it’s the job of any President to deliver results to the American people that includes Black Americans so Trump didn’t do anything unusual or unthinkable after all it’s his job like every President before him to deliver results.

      1. I’m not sure where you got your “facts from, but when Obama came to office in 2009 black unemployment stood at 16.5% when Obama left office it stood at 7.9% that is a 53% drop. When you said it was a 4.6 you are speaking in terms of rates which is still wrong, the rate was 8.6 drop in terms of rate and a 53% in terms of percentage, so maybe you my friend should work on your math.

      2. When Trump came in, again black unemployment stood at 7.9% and dropped to 5.5% by 2019 ( yes a record low in fact) that’s around a 2.4 drop in terms of rate and a 30% drop in terms of percentage.

And finally, because of incompetent leadership the black unemployment and unemployment across the board are at it’s highest. #IDidn’tHaveToBeThisBad

    1. You’re the one saying that unborn babies are somehow dead…then they must magically come to life as soon as their head passes the birth canal. So if a baby dies when the mom is in labor, it doesn’t really die because it wasn’t born yet?

    2. @mintymus where have i said that? You just assumed that, didn’t you? once again, just stop talking, you have no clue, and you don’t even know that you don’t have a clue, so i think we’re done here. come back when you’ve done some research, and are well informed, bc you’ve made it blatantly obvious that you know nothing.

    3. @David Braun “living means it has been born already.” You said that . It’s above. So by your logic, anything that hasn’t been born yet is dead?
Here are just a few sources of people being convicted of murdering an unborn child. You keep accusing me of assuming and making stuff up, yet I’m the only one to provide facts and sources. You support killing babies. If you’re not ok with that, then I suggest you change your position.

    1. @Al Gomez so I can you give me a list of where the big amounts of donations to Black lives matter have gone to
How many dollars of black lives matter donations has gone to Bernie Sanders?
      To Joe Biden?
      To any other Democrats?

    2. Sam Black and that’s wrong but that’s when the establishment kicked in and I don’t support that. People who are peacefully protesting on the streets and saying Black Lives Matter are just voices of people who are hurt. Once it became political these establishments started coming in and talking about reform but you needed to donate to there campaigns and I don’t agree with that but the movement itself to fight systemic racism and fight injustice in our society shouldn’t be political at all. Our rights to live shouldn’t be political. Our right to be treated like humans shouldn’t be political.

    3. Sam Black Like I said John McCain a Republican has done the same. When he picked that bimbo Sarah Palin and I back fired. Joe probably already knew from the start that he wanted Kamala.

  1. Because Biden said “ we cannot win the re-election, we can only re-elect trump”. That’s why there’s no coverage on Biden. His dementia won’t help the narrative

  2. Working for CNN is like having a job at the National Enquirer, you know it’s b/s but you don’t care as long as you’re paycheck doesn’t bounce.

  3. Absolutely love how all the comments here are pertaining to the horrible “reporting” CNN is guilty of…I love America…CNN is the worst
