  1. Jimmy Carter is a real man unlike Donald tRump who is a cartoonish caricature of a weak man’s idea of a strongman!

    1. True, Carter is a strong, decent human being. Something trump and his minions will never understand.

  2. Trump thinks getting up in the morning and taking a massive dump makes him the equal of every President that has gone before. Trump’s delusional narcissism tells him everybody is just as dishonest, morally broken, and self-serving as he is. Trump could never understand why Pres. Carter has spent over 35 yrs building houses for the poor.

    1. Ailene Tabada in don’t know enough about his past to judge your comment on that

What I have taught my son is that people can change and we must be aware of the past but if we hold people down because of it how can they ever change?

Also, President Carters history over the past 20+ years is enough to discuss his character now

I would take a leader with a good heart and moral compass who makes mistakes over one who is morally bankrupt and make the perfect (whatever that is 🤷‍♂️) choices for a country

Rebuilding a country’s economy is far far easier than rebuilding one lacking in human decency and devoid of morals

I will openly say I have disdain for the current President. His one redeeming factor to me is that he provides constant talking points with my teenage son about how to treat others with compassion and understanding particularly if we have not experienced their situation(s) as we can only observe what they experience in a bubble with no true reference point

IF the current President has an epiphany at some point in the future (because not even Covid changed his ways) then I sincerely hope I display the moral fortitude to stand by my words here should he change and be as humble as President Carter, Pope Francis or Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood who quietly snuck back into Edmonton Alberta to help build homes with Habitat for Humanity and got caught by the local news doing so otherwise no one would have known they were there

I try, and fail often, each day to be better than I was the day before. Nothing would make me happier than to see the current President have a heart change that is sustained over time as well. President Carter is in his 90’s so the current POTUS is 74 years young and here’s hoping I will live to see such a change in him too 🙂

    2. AND….Carter lives in what you could only describe as a very nice little ranch house. He built it in 1961. HE built it. And it’s current appraised value is $167,000. The secret service vehicle that sits outside? Those things go for $213,000 a pop. Carter is what he is. And Trump? He IS what HE is too. A sharper contrast between two human beings could hardly be drawn. .

    3. Ailene Tabada The cult hates Carter because he was a truly decent human being. They hate that he is a open Christian that believes in the future and wont help them bring the end-times. They hate him because he us incorruptible without a evil bone in his body. They hate him because he is everything that they are not.

    4. @Michael Timely Nice!!! This Pathological Liar in CHIEF ,Incompetent, pathetic, hate mongering where ever he goes,Has to be taken out of this Dictatorship he is working so hard for. I believe this covid “positive” test is a Lie. It’s Fake News. To get his Herd immunity rolling. He is Not one of us Americans, he could Never be Trusted. Vote the Trumpvirus out and Save America from this Dictator.

  3. The herd mentality/immunity Swamp is being efficiently drained by a brainless bug guided by Karma. A new day is dawning…our patience is required a little longer. Hallelujah and Amen.🙏🐛😊

  4. I look forward to the t’rump biography: “t’rumpster Fire: How A Broke Reality Host Became the Dumbest President in History.”

    1. “How a sh*tstorm in a dumpster fire broke a country: Profiles in mass murder, genocide by default, and the manufacturing of realty by articial intelligence”

      Authour: Svengalikkkant touchthis

    2. @Ro G “trump’s failure trump’s failure”…what are you DNCbots going to do if Biden gets elected. You still going to blame only Trump? Or will you include the GOP in your hyper-partisan garbage? Just as long as you can pretend the corporate Dems are infallible, huh?

  5. Carter could definitely give the current occupant of the white house some lessons in dignity and statesmanship, _although it’s likely that the orange blight would bite Carter’s ear off_

    1. @Kathy Ellis Still is trusted. Remember him going back to help build houses for Habitat for Humanity right after brain cancer treatments? He always attempted to rise and usually did. Make sure to visit the Carter Center in ATL.

  6. When Carter was President I was a young lad in 7th grade. Oddly I was interested in politics and would read the paper every morning before I would go to school. I grew up in Orange County, CA. which is a conservative area in southern California. My parents were Republicans and everyone I knew was Republican. I grew up hearing people talk about how bad and weak Carter was and I held on to that opinion till roughly my early 20’s when I started to think for myself. Eventually, I turned away from being a Republican and became much more liberal and I started to realize what a good man Carter was and my respect for him only grew over time. I was very proud of voting for Reagan in his second term for my first chance to vote but today I realize that Reagan had many flaws and many of his policies that I approved of then I would oppose today. I guess that it was growing up and growing wiser does to you.

    1. Putting all politics aside, that is an incredible achievement you made in your early 20’s and I wanted to commend you for being able to examine previous beliefs and being open to re-examining them with fresh eyes

My teen son has expressed to me that he is always open to changing his mind as he learns new things because new information allows him to make new decisions like scientists do with experiment results

I love (and laughed) that he applied scientific methods to thinking about moral character 😂👍

As far as politics go I was too young to remember anything about PresidentCarter except being the Peanut guy 🤷‍♂️. As I too have grown I have ENORMOUS RESPECT for him. He is a man who lives his values and serves people to this day with kindness and humility while never seeking the spotlight for himself ❤️

    2. @Ailene Tabada: how stupid are you, comparing Trump, to Jesus Christ; our some prophet: Oh!!! that’s Rich!!!

  7. Just like I’ve always said, as time passes, history will show the tremendous importance and achievements of the Carter administration. Unlike Reagan, whose historical view declines with time, and correctly so.

  8. Jimmy Carter was a Real Christian, not one of the fake hypocrites who support the fascist terrorist imposter in the whitehouse and his whole criminal administration. Jimmy Carter was a great president, and the Republicans laughed at him.

  9. Jimmy Carter is a better human by a long shot. God’s blessing is on him. He’s a humanitarian and does greatly as an agent of good in this world. China has never had a good relationship with America but try to keep the peace with all international powers.

  10. Carter wasn’t anyone’s dummy. He took a master’s degree in nuclear physics at Vanderbilt University. He was a line officer in the USN in the submariner corps. Both indicative of the man’s moxy. I dont think he feared any man.

    1. I briefly worked for him, and he definitely did not act like he feared anything whatsoever. He was EXTREMELY intelligent. He was always very intense and serious about the task to be done, and no one there at the Carter Center could keep up with him. He was tougher on himself than anyone else .Truly a remarkable man.

    1. I’m sorry Barrack but President Carter stole my heart as a little girl when i saw him and Rosaline take their inaugural walk up Pennsylvania Avenue. Even I being a young girl, understood the meaning behind why he did it.😍

President Obama, you come in a very very close second🥰

    1. Ailene Tabada You just couldn’t stop yourself from making an ignorant comment, could you? If he had been a Republican president you’d
be praising the f**k out of him.
You trumpers are so overly tribal that you lack all credibility.
      BTW, Trumps done!😆

    2. @Ailene Tabada Your stupidity shines through so brightly with your moronic comment. I wonder what good things have you done in your life to judge a man that used his life to help so many other people? Crickets?

  11. Now Jimmy Carter is a perfect example of what a strong man looks like. Trump is the perfect example of a weak and psychologically insecure man looks like.

    1. @Patricia : I’ll take a real humble man like Jimmy Carter & bare foot/log cabin Abe Lincoln any day over CadetBonspurs tRump who is a weak mans idea of a strongman.

    2. @Bunker Baby dRumph Move over, it’s me too. I am lucky to have had influences of him and so many great politicians like Maynard Jackson, Julian Bond, John Lewis, Ambassador Andrew Young in Georgia.
