Exclusive conversation about the new CNN Film, DREAMLAND: The Burning of Black Wall Street

Directed and produced by Salima Koroma, the cinematic documentary celebrates the Black cultural renaissance that existed in the Greenwood district of Tulsa, OK, and investigates the 100-year-old race massacre that left an indelible, though hidden stain on American history.
Event is presented in partnership with the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.

  6. The 1980s R&B group the GAP Band got their name from the Black business district in Tulsa. Greenwood, Archer, and Pine Streets.

I am convinced that a bullet can’t kill a God given dream. He’ll always just send someone else. The Lord only needs one person willing to obey Him.
