You value something more, if scarcity can be imposed upon it. A good way to do that is to set up largely arbitrary time constraints. They can easily redesign it, if they wanted to. The fact that you are defending the format means they won’t want to or have to. You’re the problem.

If your absentee ballot was thrown out would you ever know? According to an NPR report 550,000 absentee ballots were rejected in 2020.

I just looked up “filibuster” so that I could understand it. interestingly, it is NOT part of the Constitution. It was not used for the first 200 years of our nation, until the voting rights acts of the 50’s and 60’s and only by Southern Senators who wanted to block voting rights to all Americans.
