    1. Actually yes for SARS and MERS. Not for HIV/AIDS because it’s a completely different type of virus and has a different viral load and transmission type.

  1. It has been proven that a person can get reinfected over and over until immune system is so weak that it can’t fight it anymore

    1. Absolutely! As long as vaccination rates are high (at least 70%, preferably 90%+), the remaining few who are unvaccinated benefit from herd immunity. This is why the anti-vaxxer movement is so dangerous. It reduces the effect of herd immunity as increasing numbers of individuals and families refuse vaccinations, which is why diseases like measles are making a resurgence. Unfortunately, there is no vaccine currently available for COVID-19 and there probably won’t be until sometime next year. Without this, the only way “herd immunity” can develop is if most members of the herd get sick, so the small fraction of those who got lucky or hid under a rock for a year will be protected. Clearly this outcome would represent a colossal failure of governments to deal with this pandemic.

  2. “Herd immunity” is a political euphemism for doing nothing and letting the disease rage through the population. According to the news stories I’ve read, about 70% of the population would have to develop natural immunity through getting sick with COVID for “herd immunity” to substantially diminish the likelihood that the remaining 30% will get the disease. Even that is questionable because some evidence from China suggests that it is possible to fall sick twice with this disease. If 70% of the population falls ill, then I would categorize that as a complete and utter failure of governments to deal with this pandemic.

  3. This virus is a lot like the flu but they accounting for heart attacks ammonia all other similar elements as covid-19 which is immoral when this is all over with it’s going to be trials human rights trials

  4. Stats say this is a fort detrick, bill gates funded flu. Ask gates how he spells viral prophet $ profit. Epstein did not commit suicide, but gates needs to meet epstein again

  5. The quebec government needs to be removed or put in prison… their latest “suggestions” are going to get ppl killed.

  6. I retire at 60. Wanted to live and enjoy. Now I am 62. I want to live little longer, enjoy my garden. I don’t want to be included in this new trend. But I can live with it if you can.

  7. The Human Species (or any other Species) has been practicing Herd Immunity for thousands of years to eliminate novel viruses from the population.
