  1. Many don’t want to come so far to Canada because they’d rather be in Poland/Europe, close to Ukraine, so they can return home some day, or at least more easily visit family back in Ukraine in near future.

    1. Yes and Poland is closer to their own culture too even if they never go home it gives them some sense of normalcy to remain in Europe.
