    1. Waco Tx Account created months before the election 2016. Troll? At least you are spreading conspiracy theories.

    1. @Christy Ann I agree this is a very tough situation. Horrible but people are gonna die no matter what…….. Sucks but I would rather die being free!

    2. @THE ANGRY QUAD …. Nobody is saying you’re NOT free.

This is a pandemic. It’s not the first time Americans and people in other countries were asked to make some sacrifices for the greater good.

Yes, people die. But they are dying unnecessarily with the Coronavirus.

That’s where masks and social distancing are vital. To protect OTHERS, so they DON’T HAVE to die.

Go be free! Just think of others while you’re at it.

  1. “When you test, you have a case. When you test, you find that something is wrong…with people. If we didn’t do any testing we would have very few cases.”
    –Trump

The scariest part about this, is that he was dead serious.
This is why the 25th amendment was created.

    1. @Mondin von Diex I glanced over it and thought that it was an article about a group of people who, along with the Koch bros., sought to limit the amount of power the central government has in people’s lives. I agree with him. The United States was designed and intended to limit the power of centralized government.
What were they looking at at the time? Reagan the implanted “actor” president? Who was Reagan’s VP? George Bush Sr.? George Bush Sr. was the guy who first brought the idea of the New World Order to the people. He was also the Director of the FBI before being the actor (Reagan’s) VP. That idea of a NWO freaked a lot of people out. In my belief the cabal that Bush and Reagan and Clinton were involved with were the main adversaries to the Koch Bros.
If the Koch bros.( or people that they were affiliated with told lies about HRC then why didn’t she ever prosecute them for libel?

    2. @Dave Schultz I will agree with you only if trump stops the daily testing at the white house at least for a week including his family . . . how bout that?

    3. @Gregory Von Dare forget about surrounded by family, maybe a video call cause family might get isolated.

  2. Thanks for your understanding on this topic of close or reopen, there’s no one side fits all.

    1. @Spring Lamb You poor broken creature.
Report to your nearest mental health facility for treatment.

    2. Older people will remember November, in which they will tell the minority of repubs that they aren’t “expendable” for the sake of the economy. That message that we think so little of the old and the sick is obscene.

    3. Then we have to make it fit because you ,nor anyone else has a right to endanger the well-being of anyone else and that’s essentially what happens when you have a virus that’s not controllable and some people think that they are above making the necessary sacrifices to eliminate it!

    4. Spring Lamb
You really need to look up the definition of some of those words because you’re using them in the complete reverse which is typical of the right-wing nuts!

  3. Finally someone gets it! Thank you Fareed! When I hear some people deny that we are in the midst of a class war in the US I am caught between laughter and tears. From its very inception America has been a country divided by class. And matters have only grown worse as the result of the industrial and post industrial revolutions. This isn’t rocket science, it’s blatantly obvious. Back in the 1960s when technology really began to take off I was taking a 10th grade AP course entitled Government & Economics. Taught by an ex Macy’s executive from NYC it was modeled around college style lectures. In one of those lectures the teacher assured the class that with advances in technology and mass production the common worker would work fewer and fewer hours for more and more money. Our problem, he claimed, would be to find things to do in our spare time. I probably had more of a sense of humor at 16 than I do now but even back then this assertion was too much for me. So I raised my hand and said, “Mr…….. if you think for one moment that corporations and rich people in general are going to share the benefits of technological innovation and automation with the workers you must believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy.” Needless to say my teacher wasn’t thrilled by my comment but fast forward to 2020 and it’s pretty clear who got it right. To make matters worse many of the decent jobs that survived were then exported offshore in order to circumvent environmental regulation and gain access to a new “slave class” of third world workers desperate for any job available. The supposed benefit of this offshoring was suppose to be…drum roll please…shared benefit through radically lowered prices. We all know how that worked out…Nike gets shoes made in Thailand for $6 and sells them in America for $110! And now in a nation where well paying jobs are limited mostly to a small percentage of high tech surviors there is much talk about the wonderful benefits to be gained via Artificial Intelligence! Ah, just what we need, another technological advance eliminating more worthwhile and decent paying jobs. But have no fear, Bill Gates, Google, Amazon and the rest are going to make sure that we all benefit equally…honest!

    1. @Mondin von Diex =The Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR. rate of people working) went from _66_ in 2008 down each consecutive year until it reached *the lowest since the 1970s* with a *_62.7_ * in 2016 (see Bureau of Labor Statistics bls dot gov).
The LFPR increased a little under Trump going up to _64.3_ (in 2017 & 2018) instead of continuing to go down every single year, as it did under Obama.

    2. @Mondin von Diex I bet your country’s immigration policies are more stringent than the US’.
We’ve been promised a more secure border for decades and politicians did not want to push the issue after being elected.
There shouldn’t be a “pitting Americans against each other”, we used to all be on the same page.
Sept 2018: “Yale Study Finds Twice as Many Undocumented Immigrants as Previous Estimates”
“After running 1,000,000 simulations of the model, the researchers’ 95% probability range is *16 million to 29 million,* with 22.1 million as the mean. “

    3. @Mondin von Diex deplorably?
Why? Because that’s what you’ve been programmed to believe?
Do you have random people walking into your home and camping out indefinitely, without vetting, without your permission… and you financially support them? Let us know where you live, otherwise, you’re not operating on principle.

    4. del23 aze he sure knows how to pull your strings. He is pulling you apart.

When trump got in Americans were storming our borders. Sure we have regulations and rules and no criminal got in.
Thousand came and thousand found refuge.
Sad when Americans run to another country because they knew you’d be in terrible trouble.
We are glad to welcome people able and willing to work.

    5. @Mondin von Diex You write “we’re glad to welcome”…. typical empty platitudes… my question was do YOU accept random people into your home and the answer is “no” you don’t and you wouldn’t.
Canada has more stringent immigration laws than the US…. with work and language requirements that have only slightly been laxed recently.
By the way, I’m a first generation American-born mixed race Hispanic woman… and many immigrants and children of immigrants have the same sentiments that I do. I know it’s shocking to you since the media doesn’t tell you so.
We have an immigration process that people should go through… and it’s generous. Why would we want to ruin here by not adhering to laws and a vetting process? I actually waited for Trump to run for decades.

    1. @Lexy Swope I’ve read a couple of articles on the subject (eugenics), but never a book. Anyway I was surprised to learn that the pseudoscience got its start in the USA. The Nazi adherents expanded on the ideas of good ol’ American social engineers. It’s a funny world, in which we live.

    2. @Joseph Rankin The guy who made the comment to me favored only allowing high IQ people to reproduce as a way to get to his ideal population. (The books said that there would have to be forced sterilization). I wonder what average people would think about that. It would take several decades to achieve his goal. Many eugenicists are not averse to genocide.😢

    3. @Lexy Swope your observations are accurate and are largely why eugenics was discredited so many years ago. Master race and all that crap. It’s almost unbelievable to me, that 90 years later, it’s rearing its ugly head again. I guess it proves that old saw about “those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it” (something to that effect). I hope you get my drift; I’m against people playing God.

    4. @Joseph Rankin I understand completely. I’ve always been interested in people. There are so many heart-warming stories about how people deal with life. I don’t want to imagine a world in which everyone is alike.

  4. Fareed, how is this a new phenomenon? It’s been like this since I’ve been alive, in the late 1940s. It’s not just about level of education, there are educated and non educated on both sides. Those who have been affected feel differently than those who have not. People with money look at it differently than those who don’t. It’s not so simple, and it’s not just about class.

    1. Anyone studying biology understands this issue. Fools don’t understand anything but propaganda. Typical right-wing BS refuting science.

    2. what’s new here is wearing (or not wearing) a mask as a political statement. “I’ll visit my mother in a nursing home and not wear a mask”, and then when that home becomes rampant with Covid it will be too late. Public health has become infected with politics.

    3. @codent Framing it as such is the problem. If EITHER side could act like adults we’d all be better off.

  5. Everything is a class divide. When the middle class and lower income workers have lost so much money in the past 40+ years.

    1. Previous month I was able to withdraw my first five figure income ever!!! I’ve been working for this provider on the internet for twenty four months now and I never been happier… They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing about that is that I am not that tech-savvy, they only asked for basic awareness of internet and general typing skill…The best thing about this work is that I have more time for my kids. I am able to enjoy quality time with my relatives and buddies and look after my children and also going on vacation together with them very consistently. Don’t skip this chance and try to act quick. Let me show you what I do… *worth48.com*

  6. Dr. Fauci: “I don’t give advice about economic things. I don’t give advice about anything other than public health.”
That’s how it should be. A person educated and qualified to make statements in one field should STICK to giving advice ONLY about that field, or other fields of expertise.
Trump should try that sometime…except if Trump only spoke about things he was an expert on…he would never have occasion to open his orange yap.

    1. I find it reprehensible you would say something so inaccurate. Trump is a very effective rotting jack-o-lantern impersonator, and a highly skilled con artist. He is a regular P.T. Barnum when it comes to baiting targets to con. In fact, he is truly a master baiter. The strength of his support base attests to this. This is, of course, because he devotes so much time master baiting his base.

    2. @Doug H I take it you think you are very clever. I suppose we’ll just leave it at that. Keep telling your self that over and over. Over and over, how witty and clever you are. Your mother must be so proud to have a clever child like you. But be careful not to look into any mirrors. There is a very scary and ugly troll there that you do not want to see.

    3. @Doug H The only people suffering from TDS are Trump’s supporters. Edit: Millions of Trump’s supporters ARE suffering from decisions he made.

  7. I think the influence of continuous disinformation from a certain news outlet on the right is heavily underestimated.

    1. Tried to make it not a political piece. Real reporting. Yet his viewers automatically pull it to the left. That’s why there’s a class divide

    2. The saddest part is that old Fred Sanford . . . Redd Foxx is no longer with us. If he were, he could start up his own news service and call it “Foxx News, Dummy”.

    1. @PhilaUSA. No most worry about losing everything that only kills three out of hundred. Apparently most have never faced a real crisis in your lives.

    2. Why didn’t they shut down the economy when they found out the flu shot was only 50% effective?

    3. The Sock Puppet Experience Trump doesn’t want the people to work together. He wants the country divided and he says that everyday in one way or another.

    4. No it is not a health crisis. it’s a political crisis. The Dems are pushing Communist policies.

  8. How can someone in the Midwest have the same laws as someone in an HUD building in downtown NYC?

    1. because we’re free to travel state to state. We can’t and won’t block the highways. The virus is in all 50 states, and those states with low cases also don’t have many hospitals. If your local ICU gets maxxed out, you’re screwed.

    2. the basic premise that social distancing will help avoid transmission of the virus should be the same modus operandi for all Americans. All.

    3. One thing that doesn’t change from state to state or City to City is that people carry it. They’re actually saying now that animals carry it as well and we now also know that children can get it!
Treating this like any less than a contagious disease is reckless and foolish!

    4. @Matt Russillo Traffic out of meat-packing and processing plants has been mapped and the lines go literally all over the U.S.
Most people are connected to the ‘grid’ in some way.

  9. I could see the partisanship in mask wearing around here. Glad to hear it wasn’t my imagination.

    1. Yeah, Dean, make sure you don’t use our medical establishments if you start to feel ill and endanger them becasue you are such a radical free man. If you get sick continue being your radical, non….conformist B.S.. Charlie Darwin will will find you much more easily and clean up the gene pool.

  10. 🤨”The media is the most powerful Entity on the Earth🌎.They have the power to make the innocent guilty and make the guilty innocent, and that’s power. Because they control the minds of the masses.” – Malcolm X

    1. There is plenty media in the world and if you believe one news source your being controlled by your inability to look elsewhere !

    2. You’re right. I didn’t give a complete answer. Most most major news networks except fox are definitely leftist mouthpieces. However, Fox is the conservative mouthpiece. I usually fall between as far as my beliefs. I don’t believe fox intentionally lies like CNN. Thankfully, with the entirety of human facts and opinions throughout history available to me on the internet I don’t have to believe everything “smart” people in suits on tv tell me. It’s sad though that a lot of people don’t take advantage of this Information Age, but instead follow demagoguery blindly because the “experts” are on tv. Conservatives are not always right, but seem to be more willing to admit being wrong when blatant facts are smacking them in the face. Facts, not opinions.

    3. @Sam Crihfield couldn’t have said it better myself right on the money thanks for your comment

  11. PUTIN IS LAUGHING HIS HEAD OFF AT HOW EASY AMERICANS CAN BE MANIPULATED-STOP BEING MANIPULATED.

    1. @Human Being You owe your pathetic little existence to President Trump..If it weren’t for Trump millions would have died,Trump will go down as the best President ever!!!Everything wrong with America started with a democrat and Trump is fixing the problems…#obamagate

    2. @Mondin von Diex Thank you for proving that liberalism is a mental illness and that you are nothing but a fake news propaganda tool..Trump 2020!!#obamagate..

  12. Caught my seven year old calling his brother a “trump supporter” in an argument the other day 😂😂

    1. @Veronica Valencia trite offense? You’re clearly a lunatic. The guy is demented and circling the drain but you hate trump so much you dont care.

    2. Above All, United your seven year old needs help now or you are going to make him a cross dressing dem baby killer

    3. @Josh Allen “baby killer” ? Very interesting that you refer to an undeveloped mass of organisms as a “baby”, & that you would care of it’s survival, yet you care NOTHING of the now nearly 90 THOUSAND DEAD, killed by Covid 19 & Slimy Donny. You personify sewage filth.

  13. Does it make sense to you the middle part of the country is less densely populated than the two coasts? Has nothing to do with republicans or democrats, stop politicizing everything, please.

  14. “The news media is all hearsay” next time get true expert’s in the fields of virology, not some doctors who doesn’t have a clue, the news media that doesn’t have a clue…this was 😥 to do american people half truth….
