    1. @B. T. look….I realize you’ve been butthurt ever since I smacked you down 20 posts ago, but you really need to stop obsessing over me. I don’t want to be your boyfriend, OK??

    2. It’s not really up to him. Every single senator has to vote yes for this to happen. It won’t happen. Don’t waste your time.

    1. @Shelley Ross LOL, funny trump did with the first Stimulus check. The check come with his signature because he made it that way to get credit for it. Even if you got your check via bank transfer he still sent a letter to take credit for it.

  1. This whole system is BS. House passed the Bill then send it to Senate where SOB Mitch throw in the Garbage. So whoever control the Senate control the country.

    1. Our founders designed our system of checks and balances because they believed it’s better to stop government from passing bad laws than to have a new law at all. I agree with them. If Americans were hungry enough they would stand up to their government, demand an end to the shutdowns and get back to work.🇺🇸

    2. @#NOTMYPRESIDENT #RESIST You have warp sense of history because Alexander Hamilton the first Treasury Secretary of the United States, created the first 11 point plan for manufacturing to build wealth in America, and we were betrayed by Ronald Reagan and the Republicans broke that plan and created “Free Trade” to destroy the democrats’.

    3. I can see from the stupidity in these comment sections that America is doomed with you idiots in charge…🇺🇸💀

  2. Hey Trump supporters: your own party is the reason why you won’t see any of your own money. Stop voting Republican.

  3. If Moscow Mitch decides that this bill isn’t worth while, the people of Georgia will know that David Perdue and Kelly Loefller isn’t worth while either.

    1. Considering that they had inside information about covid early on, and not only did they not warn their state about it, they sold off stock knowing that said stock was about to become worthless.

They probably couldn’t gotten away with it if they told their people about covid but still sold their stock. They would’ve at least helped, but they couldn’t even do that.

    2. We just passed $740-Billion dollars for military spending but these Republicuntz won’t pass an additional $2K- thousand dollars stimulus checks because of national defecit? Really? After this past year they have cost us just this year $13-15Trillion dollars to our GDP from lack of handling Covid19! Trickle down Economics….hilarious!

    1. @dalkijhs ljaksdj then Pelosi has the gall to come back after the election and propose a bill that’s half of what Trump offered. And the reason given? “Oh the Senate won’t pass it anyway” as if it’s the GOP and ONLY the GOP taking a dump on Americans’ heads.
“A pox upon both their houses” William Shakespear

  4. I’m sure Republicans are thinking, “Wait! we cannot give money to working people without also rewarding the rich and corporations with 10 times the amount.”

    1. @Richard Desch why is the end did the members of the house to go along with it? It should’ve been set aside for another bill. It should not of been included in the stimulus bill. Companies people might have wanted these foreign countries to have aid but we didn’t have to go along with it.
Then there is a question about the two new museums connected with the Smithsonian. One concern women’s issues one concern Latinos. Clearly that did not come from the Trumpster.

    2. @T. R. Campbell I agree but the stimulus bill would never have been voted on unless attached to this 9 month CR bill. People are just getting “woke” because the stimulus happens to be attached to this temp budget. It happens in every CR and budget. Plenty of blame to go around

    3. @#NOTMYPRESIDENT #RESIST That argument is entitely based off an assumption…stfu. We are in a pandemic you moron

    4. @Lisa Clark Keep crying those conservative tears. There is *NOTHING* you can do. Be it now, January 6th or January 20th 🤡

  5. Dear Georgians🙏Vote Blue and take back the Senate and don’t let the Republicans hold us Hostage on our stimulus🙏

    1. @Robocock22 wow. First of all it is our money to begin with. Second of all some people CAN’T work or unable to find work. But you do you booboo. Let me guess, we are all sheep and you are anti antifa and believe antifa to be an actual group. Hmmm… Good day!!

    2. @Cory Challice
They’re thinking of what they would do with the money. They’d bank it. Invest it.
All the stimulus funds will get spent almost immediately and will trickle back up quickly. It will simply allow the masses (us) to muddle through until we can get back to feeding the machine. This pandemic has drained the remaining savings from many and put it into Bezos’ and the Waltons’ pockets.

    1. Imagine living in Canada where they’re getting relief money like this every month. But the world’s “greatest country” unable to help its own. One side of the US has actually made it worse by denying the virus’ existence then making mask wearing a political thing. Now there’s half a million dead that didn’t need to be. And there’s still idiots out there that won’t mask up because “muh freedum” and “liberals wear masks hurrr”. Hopefully younger generations will have learned from all this that there is a way forward and it’s by not adopting idiotic beliefs in conspiracies and the rhetoric of a narcissistic sociopath.

    2. @Silent Wisdom In deed it is. Nut shells remind me of squirrels and that makes me happy 🥜🐿🙋‍♀️❤

    1. i agree, amazing how both sides have these china and russia ties. trump said the swamp was deep and wide, i guess we are seeing now how vast the swamp really is.

    2. Nope, the terrorist militia tried that with the governor of Minnesota, they proved that it’s illegal and ill advised.

    1. Yes. We are a consumerist society. That is what holds our economy (now that most manufacturing jobs are overseas)

    2. @Malcolm George Our economy isn’t reliant on a bunch of Democrats buying malt liquor and fried chicken with their welfare checks…

    3. @Malcolm George I spent $100,000 on a market cap fund last march and it has made $38,000 thus far. I probably created dozens of jobs with that investment. How much did you spend this year and how much return did you get on your expenditures and how many jobs did you create?

    4. @Dawn Green If we just voted out politicians like Joe Biden who take bribes to send American manufacturing overseas, the American middle class would be as big as it was before they did it to us.🤨🇺🇸

  6. So we fund the government with our tax dollars and when we need help the government says figure it out yourself.

    1. @Kenny Hill I’m not sure what you are getting at. I agree taxpayers pay taxes. But those taxes go toward paying off the debts the US govt has rendered from the federal reserve. And every year we borrow more funding thus the tax payers have to pay back more money or run a deficit.

    2. We the people fund this government thru tax dollars going into the treasury when I pay taxes my check goes to us treasury guess you don’t pay taxes Daquan

  7. “He’s not saying what he will do” Well, that’s an accomplished act for someone who loves to blow hot air and listen to himself talk!

  8. Don’t hold your breath: McConnell is not going to allow $2,000 checks to go out to poor people. It’s not happening.

    1. the power is in the hands of the people. this is something both liberals and conservatives can come together for.

    2. A general strike would be nice. Too bad Republicans have done everything in their power to destroy Unions in this country.
