Fauci Concerned With Warning Signs Of A Virus 'Resurgence' In States Like KY, TN | MSNBC 1

Dr. Anthony Fauci says that states like Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, and Indiana are starting to see increasing levels of testing positivity rates, in a repeat of what signaled the current surge in other states. He says that he's advised governors, "that it is very important to get ahead of the curve" and emphasize mitigation strategies. He also suggests that some surging states did not adhere to the guidance on reopening, and that while new shutdowns might not be necessary, hot spots may "want to backtrack a little" before reopening more cautiously. Albin M what I find to be the bigger question is what is wrong with dialogue and questions which are different than the main stream narrative, when Fauci has opinions and completely contradict each other, and significant amount of scientific evidence and doctors who contradict Fauci‘s current opinion. Why is it sacrilegious to discuss different scientific opinions. What is this religious fervor attached to the narrative?

    A few words from covid19 ..

COVID-19: “Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear the first time, so let me
try again. I am immune to Trump’s lies and gaslighting. Ignorance and
misinformation from Trump and Fox only makes me stronger. I can’t be
defeated with phony patriotism, guns, flag waving, or denial. I can’t be
defeated with magic, because I am real, and magic is not. I can only be
defeated with science, facts, maturity, unselfishness, and common
sense. I am nothing like the flu, but the flu is a fan of mine, and it
wants to be like me when it grows up. Trying to ignore me won’t save
you. I can’t be defeated with thoughts and prayers, so going to places
of worship won’t save you. You may not be interested in me, but I am
obsessed with you. Currently there is no vaccine for me, and that’s the
problem. I recognize no one’s authority. Selfish ignorant people like
Trump and his cult are the wind beneath my wings, they give me life. I
may have lost some strength in other countries, but thanks to Trump,
America is making me great again.

  5. Gohmert just tested positive for covid 19 and I’m celebrating! KARMA Louis KARMA!

@T Mox I just watched a video of 4,5 and 6 year olds in Portland carrying “F– the police” signs and the adults encouraging them to say the words. I think there is plenty of danger to go around.

    • @Mary Cantrary I agree with you. But I’ve seen plenty of trump supporters wish death on Democrats. Absolutely blatantly.
There are still people calling the mostly peaceful protests rioters. It couldn’t be father from the truth, and yet they justify the violence against these protestors, who are allowed to use their voice. You can disagree with them, but you sure shouldn’t be saying that violence is necessary.

    • Mary Cantrary | July 30, 2020 at 8:48 AM | Reply

@Albin M I completely agree and I call out anybody that I see doing that, we have to keep our humanity with each other and wishing harm on people is not it.
Certainly not all of the protesters are rioters, however, enough destruction is happening that it gives a very bad look. And most people know that protesters protest during the day, rioters and looters and arsonists come out mostly at night. Way more people have died during riots than by police and as a black woman I can say this, if we don’t start caring as much about the many black lives lost in Chicago every weekend as we do the police murders, we will never be taken as seriously as we should be. We act like fools protesting things like the person killed in Detroit while LITERALLY shooting at a cop from 3 feet away. We need to get it together. Protest what is valid like George Floyd and not excuse more violence.

You mean there’s a virus resurgence in places full of republican anti-maskers and pandemic-deniers? What a shock!

    • @Burt Rango The next reports will show previously dead people coming back to life (living healthy life, not the zombie apocalypse kind o’ ‘life’).

    • @Tom McDermott The hazmat suits are to stop the _wearer_ from _getting_ the virus, not the other way around.
Some viruses have developed a protective layer allowing it to survive longer without a fluid medium to protect it. Sars-cov-2 has not: the spike and envelope proteins (the extensions from the main body) quickly become dry and ineffectual when exposed to air without fluid protection (water or lipids).
Masks are intended for not giving it to others. Research shows masks (proper masks worn the proper way) stop from 87%-93% of the aerosol droplets from escaping to open air. Combined with proper social distancing allowing for the 7%-13% of the escaped droplets to hopefully drop to non-contractible areas (i.e. away from faces), the risk of infection becomes minimal.

      The truth about Fauci
      https://youtu.be/oO7BqEAaR3g

    • Actually, there has been a recent virus resurgence even in some states that have mandated and enforced mask wearing/social distancing in public (southern California and Nevada, for example); these states have seen surges in Coronavirus hospitalization rates these past few weeks. It seems as if mask wearing and social distancing are not that effective in these states, but this fact has not really been addressed yet (either by Dr. Fauci or the Coronavirus Task Force).

    • @d.k. In the case of SoCal, there was a large proportion of the population that were defiant in mask-wearing and social distancing. Orange County was the absolute worst. Intrastate travel was ignored as well, spreading the virus to many more places in the State. In many places in SoCal, the protocols were followed and cases dropped significantly. Furthermore, protocols seemed to relax too early.
It’s not a case of the protocols _not_ working.
I’m in B.C. Canada. We followed the protocols laid down almost immediately and our new daily cases are lower than 97% of every *county* , not State, in America (yes, I’ve checked regularly at a county by county case site – 3,141 total).
That “fact” that the protocols aren’t effective won’t be “addressed” by Fauci because it’s not a fact.

Fauci is heavily invested in vaccines, is partly responsible for this pandemic, and hasn’t treated a patient in years much less one with Covid. He is guilty of crimes against humanity. Africa wants him and Bill Gates to answer for their poisoned vaccines and the false positive Covid test kits. Fauci cannot be trusted. I do trust the doctors who’s frontline treatment of hundreds of patients have proven hydroxychloroquine does work if given the proper dosage. Past testing was giving people lethal dosages of the drug and that was why it did not work. I trust on the ground, hands on doctors rather than a deeply entrenched and heavily invested bureaucrat like Fauci. He should be in jail and not running his mouth and pushing the globalist narrative! The tests are all false positives! People who were never tested are getting positive results in the mail!

    • @Kitten Scott if anyone is MOSTLY responsible for this pandemic it is the president. He’s been in the way of addressing this properly and continues to display his incompetence as a leader.

  9. Memo of governors: Listen to Dr. Fauci. Follow his plan.

Albin M I would love to have a psychological study done of the Marxist left group today, no matter what you say, does not matter if it’s factual, with pictures of for evidence, it does not matter, they always respond with name calling. Albin M And here’s something else that I find very interesting about the Marxist left today, this was the same party that just a few years ago was saying celebrate diversity celebrate differences celebrate diversity. Isn’t me having a different opinion a diversity? Why are you not celebrating me?

    • @Stephen Harris you sound just like Trump asking why no one likes him, why everyone likes Dr Fauci.
You’re the same. It’s no wonder neither of you get it.

  10. Fauci: And that’s why we need to wear masks and increase testing.
t’rump: Yeah, I don’t think so. This other doctor says we have a cure.
Fauci: You mean the doctor who believes in aliens trying to impregnate humans as a form of mind control?

In France we have a sect (they’re in Canada now, no taxes). The leader … oh Lord !!! Is “name” is “Rael”. I swear if you need a laugh just look at him. Small guy, 60 maybe, when he was young he had very beautiful long hairs. When he we was young. Not he keeps 3 hairs on the bottom of the head and pretend it’s a hair bun (but without hairs). Always dressed like a cosmonaut. According to him 9 month before his birth she left the window open, that was in summer, and during this time she doesn’t remember but Alien came into her room to do artificial insemination. Jesus Christ 2.0. More ridiculous than him I don’t .. wait, yes I know: Trump.

    • Stephen Harris you MUST be talking about when trump lied saying that the virus was a hoax and that it would magically vanish when it got warmer outside.

It’s almost August, the virus wasn’t even allowed to have a 2nd wave, we’re still stuck in the first wave of continuously rising covid infection rates. Mostly because of dumbasses like yourself that call tangible evidence “fake news,” while listening to a reality tv schmuck for medical advice.

You support a man who’s favorite doctor thinks that she got impregnated by an alien…
If at this point you’re still blindly supporting trump, then you’re absolutely hopeless and should probably just take Trumps advice and inject some disinfectant. You heard the idiotic orange man, Clorox kills covid in 1 minute flat. He says it as a matter of fact, so a matter of fact it must be…right? Our Fuhrer Donald wouldn’t lie to us would he?

It’s due to their incompetent leaders that the United States is the global epicenter of the SARS-CoV2 pandemic.

    • The majority of Americans have respect for Dr. Fauci. Once again it’s the minority of unsavory citizens who would rather be selfish than to be American and take care of each other.
Trump’s supporters would rather see Democrats burn, that’s how anti American they’ve become. And they justify it by saying only their side is American. It’s disgusting.

You can see the conspiracy theorists and science deniers in this thread, the less careful others are the more careful you have to be…. Best of luck with it! 👍

    • @Sarah Simpson ….ask Dr Fauci how the AIDS Virus and the SARS Virus did not carry the same message by the Globalist Media as the Coronavirus. Simply put, the Democrat Party is controlled by the Globalists inside China. President Trump will dismantle the Globalists and return what they stole from the US and give it back to the Quiet American People.
