A majority of the people in the United States are frustrated by the lack of leadership from our federal and state governments. The president has given up on helping us fight the virus because it does not help him personally. Many state governors are afraid of Trump for some unknown reason and followed him leading to where their citizens are now suffering.
A majority of the American people respect Canada and it’s people. Our leaders who still live in the dark ages still do not put science first when dealing with Covid-19.
Canada is doing the right thing keeping us Americans away. It is the only way to send a signal to our politicians to stop playing the political game and do what they were hired for, work to serve the American people.
As a side note, my wife and have visited Canada many times and the people have always been warm and friendly and the country is beautiful We hope that we have new leaders voted in so we can share in the success that Canada has had fighting off the virus.

Colorado shut down in March. Not restaurants, no clothing stores, no bars. We didn’t reopen until June,and then only on limited terms.
Some Texas cities closed, but Texas proudly didn’t.
