FBI Data PROVES GOP Fear-Mongering About Rising Crime Rates Are Wrong

  1. Let’s face it, to the GOP, the “Hunger Games” is aspirational fiction. They love to watch poor people fight for scraps.

    1. It’s funny that the Dems are turning all their Dem-run cities into Detroit with homelessness, increasing poverty, crime, violence, rampant drug use, gang violence, bankruptcy, and all they can say is, “It all a lie. Don’t believe your lying racist eyes.”

    2. @David Eby Yes that’s well known, so you’re not adding anything new.
Planned Parenthood in its current form is trying to prevent unwanted preganancies, but the GOP likes to yap on about PP ‘killing babies; when it’s GOP policies that send women to abortionists.

And the last time I looked it was the GOP freaking out about the foundation/trust that runs the Dr Suess legacy removing some books from print. NOT the US govt, but a private business, which is their right.

    3. @imiss toronto Oh,did someone say the US gov’t was removing Dr.Suess books? No,you just like making crap up like all liberals.Planned Parenthood make the bulk of their money killing babies. There is not profit in preventing unwanted pregnancies. You could put in a little effort into knowing what you’re talking about.

    4. @David Eby FOX certainly spent hours and hours of airtime complaining about it. About Dr Suess I mean. And only an American thinks there is profit in healthcare.

The GOP has a whole industry set up around fear mongering, and you represent the worst of it.

    5. @imiss toronto There is profit in abortion or PP wouldn’t do it. Sorry for the fear mongering, keep forgetting how delicate you snowflakes can be.

  2. Why are white collar punishments different for violent crimes…
The damage may not be loss of life but it certainly craters a larger swath of lives.

    1. Yet Republicans will tell you that we are all treated the same.
Only your personal choices and hard work will choose your path thru life-
The rich, the poor, the blacks, the whites, the Asians, the handicapped, the Mexicans,….we are all the same—-
They can say this because they placed themselves at the top of the food chain.

We Now live in a country were a Supreme Court Judge can commit perjury on National Television during his job interview for a life long position on the highest court.

We now live in a Country were trying to lynch the Vice President of the United States is part of a tour of our State Capitol.

      sad..days

    2. I would dispute that, but not on the principle of what you’re saying. Instead, I would point out that white collar crimes DO lead to loss of life. Look up the suicide rate the years (2008-2009) that the housing market crashed, and millions lost their homes. The suicide rate quadrupled. Tens of thousands took their own lives. Not to mention the folks that were left on the streets, homeless and unable to take care of their families. And remember how the banks celebrated, when they got their bailout? They even had the audacity to give themselves bonuses out of the bailout money. So yeah, they might as well be murderers.

    3. White color crime tends to involve people with more access to legal representation therefore it requires more effort on the DOJs part. Plus if rich people just have to pay small fines in respect to their profit margin it’s not really an issue for them.

    4. Because white collar lawyers make the laws. They do their best to not make their peers suffer too much

  3. “We see you.”
Boom. Seemingly simple words, yet some of the most powerful ever heard. Well played, Rev.

  4. Fun Fact: “For 31 straight years, Louisiana has reported the nation’s highest murder rate.”

    1. @Crab People except data shows that outdoor protests did not increase covid deaths. However there is concern that the newer Delta variant b/c it’s 50% more contagious than then the original may result in more illness from exposure when outdoors. time will tell.

    2. @Crab People A few weeks before Easter Don the Con said he hoped that churches would be filled with people. And yet previous to that he said, “You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said in a recorded phone call with Bob Woodward on Feb. 7. “And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your most strenuous flus.” “This is deadly stuff,” the president repeated for emphasis.

    3. @Rocky Comet A few weeks before Easter Don the Con said he hoped that churches would be filled with people.

    4. @Angela Siegfried Prey tell what is it I am Ignorant of ??? or do you just like to name call and run .

    1. Republicans know those trigger words have no true meaning to their base. Leaving them undefined lets peoples imagination run wild.

    2. @Señor BeanS
No. An unknown Soros Funded, Deep State, Dog ate Schmucker Carlson’s “Laptopgate” Homework… I mean Paperwork out of his UPS Package.

    1. yeah i love these idiotic comments about rising crime while ignoring the rise of unemployment and poverty rates… its almost like there are decades of research showing the corrolation between bad economic situations and rising crime rates…

    2. @Noreb The person you’re replying to doesn’t use public reading time for a mental latrine with their writings.
      Also:
You mocked a vital point in human survival.

Begins post with: “yeah i love these idiotic comments”. Amazing irony. Bye.

  5. gop playbook:
1- quietly pass bills that benefit only yourself while blocking everything that benefits the public
2- then, if that behavior makes you lose power, go into extreme crisis actor mode and blame all of the negative results of what you blocked on the opponent in order to win power again

  6. Ummm I was visiting Buckhead in Atlanta when a guy got shot for just walking down the street and the police didn’t persue. The violence is real in Atlanta.

    1. It’s real in Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, New York and everywhere else. Dude is lying so is the FBI.

    1. Every right winger I encountered is way to consumed with their own facts.

      What you said is propaganda.

    2. @William Springer Who said anything about msnbc? I mean besides you? All I was talking about is facts. Who in the world equates the word fact with anything but the definition for fact?

    3. @Reid Fleming, World’s Toughest Milkman oooooh oh oh oh oh oh i know!!!!! people who are making disingenuous arguments that arent related to the actual context in question!!!

    4. @William Springer
Then provide a link to the Factual Actual Data. But, of course you won’t. Because you can’t. So if you can? Prove me wrong and provide a link to the unfabricated Actual Data. Put up or Shut up Cultist.

  7. ALL NEWS OUTLETS: “Crime has been on the rise for the past 19 months due to covid stress.”

FOX NEWS: “Another crisis has started under the Biden Administration and it’s all Bidens fault.”

    1. It started as a result of the anti-policing movement which is on the local level, not the federal.

  8. GOP can make it difficult to vote, we will double time to make sure everyone who wants to vote will.

    1. The main thing Trump (and Putin’s GOP) accomplished over the past 4 yrs was to activate scores of previously inactive Democrat voters.

    2. @Common Sense lol 😂😂…you do realize that the only dead people they found that voted in 2020 were Trump voters…..or were you not aware. In fact, it is suspected that one of those people may have been murdered by her husband who then filled out a ballot for his missing wife…

    1. You could go look at the statistics.

Also, watch the segment. He went in depth on the policies which caused the rise in gun crimes and domestic violence. I’ll give you a hint. They are policies allowed to lapse, and go easy on gun laws. These policies weren’t changed this year.

  9. I’m beginning to think there’s no hope for some of you who believe this media is telling the truth. Please stop being hateful, stop the name calling and judging people you know nothing about. If you don’t, you’re just contributing to the division in this country that needs to STOP!

    1. Great sentiments… unfortunately, the hateful, fear-mongering, judgemental, name calling and outright lies escalated HUGELY under Trump, and they are still ramping it up with the help of the right wing media. If the Republicans stopped trying to divide the country in this way, it would not NEED a response from their opposition to put the record straight!

  10. Yes. Dropping like a rock in Chicago. Finally. Except the 1 year old that was killed. She missed the deadline.

  11. I’m so tired of hearing lies and lies cuz that’s what they do the right side all they do is lie about somebody and in the end they want to sugar coat it that’s my opinion you go Joe God bless US America that’s my opinion ❣️🤣
