  1. Lol you’re just gonna pay for it in the other facets of your life. Have fun being taken advantage of by an idiotic political party.

  2. 100% of my wife’s pay cheque goes directly to daycare. I rather pay more taxes, than not making ends meet. Plus all the mother who can go back to work will now generate income taxes that goes back in the system to help fund all kinds of programs. This is not a hand out, this is a investment into now and the future

  3. So now my taxes goes to pay for child care too. Does anyone pay for anything anymore or just free loaders on the tax payer?

    1. you realize if women can afford childcare they can go to work right? Work that means they pay what? oh yeah TAXES lol

    2. @mostrandomthings I didn’t say I was the only one paying taxes. Education, health, infrastructure are govt based responsibilities and are looking after our communities. Once they get into looking after peoples bills, it’s a bridge too far for me.

    3. We have “Moms” with 6 kids receiving in excess of $4700 a month with assistance and child tax credit… Who’s paying this 10.2 Billion?

  4. Merci I like affordable child care although never had. Just don’t like the vibe where young parents running around in circles and unjustified judgement of singles. If there life was easier they would walk up and say hi buddy instead of wanting to run you over. My condolences to the family in Peel. My feeling discounted on the Ukraine situation a ceasefire to start moving in the right direction but cannot commit murder period. Thank you Merci beaucoup sawadee Khap Khop Khun Khap.πŸ€ πŸ™

  5. There’s no need for 86,000 more spaces. There are thousands of children in daycare now taking up space whose parent or parents are on welfare and spend they’re days either at casinos, bingo halls, drinking, drugging, instead of staying home and looking after their kids. Only those that have jobs should be given the benefit of daycare with proof of employment.

    1. Excellent points. Do not mind if assistance is warranted however knew of a case where there were three generations of females living under the same roof all as welfare recipients. Grandmother, mother and two daughters, the latter two being hook*rs each with a child of their own that were picked up every weekday morning and shuffled off to daycare and returned in the evening, compliments of the taxpayer. That was a number of years ago and doubtfully the system hasn’t changed from then and most likely has worsened ‘if the truth be known’.
