The military probably wouldn’t get involved…the feds know this. The RCMP however…that’s an issue
@Jack Sprat well outnumbered or not they are Trudeau’s lackeys. It’s why he isn’t already in jail..Trudeau will use them. I’m not saying they are a threat in the huge picture of what’s going on. Trudeau will never back down. And his only real tool to use to push the truckers out is the RCMP. That’s why I say they are the wildcard.

The key take away from what Omar said. “i hope the protests continue to be peaceful and respectful”. Which means the protests have been peaceful and respectful.
Which also means the current govt knows they will have to take the knee sooner rather than later!

Trudeau: joined IN-person the BLM protesting “discrimination” but now standing against Canadians protesting “medical discrimination”???
We will always have a little discomfort when protesting but the overall outcome is more important than a little discomfort. Hell we send our families to fight wars over resources if we can send our children to die for our governments then we can put up with a little discomfort over a friendly protest.

The Trudeau government needs to step up open dialogue for negotiations with the protesters for the sake of everyone. It’s the responsible thing of a government to do. If all fails at least they’ve would have tried but the longer it takes the more it looks bad for them. It’s not fair for the truckers, nor the residence of Ottawa and the police who have been working endlessly. For all ours sake will the government extend a hand for negotiations before somebody gets hurt or is that what it will take?
