@Crimdor Congressional Republicans are not going to pass Biden’s proposed budget. So a lot of the fixes needed that are needed to help repair fed personnel destruction caused by the prior administration may not happen.

I was an adjuster for private insurance companies after Hurricane Sandy hit, I know first hand FEMA and the companies I was representing were ripping off the people in their real time of need. That was the time I left insurance adjusting forever.

One thing we need to do is to quit rebuilding in places that are just going to get demolished again in a year or a few. This means investing in moving whole communities to more viable places. In the long run this means relocating Houston and Miami, in fact the Florida keys are eventually going to start just south of Jacksonville. Climate change will have its way.
