Figliuzzi: Senate Asked All Wrong Questions About The Pro-Trump Attack On Capitol | The Last Word

Frank Figliuzzi joins Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss the questions lawmakers should ask after the first hearing about security failures that led to the Capitol riot failed to address key issues, including how racial bias impacted the police response to the threat: “We seem to collectively have a problem in this country… with seeing people who look like us as threats even when the threat and the intelligence is staring us in the face.” Aired on 02/25/2021.

Figliuzzi: Senate Asked All Wrong Questions About The Pro-Trump Attack On Capitol | The Last Word

  1. Im hoping the first hearing was just about getting then on the record, and the second hearing with FBI, and DHS etc is going to sink some folks bigly

  2. It was a coordinated failure from the top. Geez you even had Lt General Charles Flynn yes the Traitor Mike Flynns brother on the call to the Pentagon.

    1. @Ramon Guzman the rude awakening will be your rights being taken away by the new regime. Starting with the new equal rights bill. You still haven’t given me a crime committed by Trump. You got nothing.

    2. @Kate Grosso Wake up, learn to read.
I know that you will deny his crimes, that are too many to list.
But, if you connect the idea, I explicitly said “sabotage.”

Reread the thread, don’t be lazy.

    3. @Ramon Guzman reread the thread still makes no sense. You still have nothing but what your leaders at CNN and MSNBC have given you. I do read, don’t depend on cable news. You’re the lazy one. I reiterate you’re a sheep who just can’t get passed Trump. You should see somebody about that.

    4. @Kate Grosso Little one, did you find the part where I call the orange traitor for sabotaging the agencies in charge of security at the Capitol?

That’s one of the charges, but there are a number of crimes committed by Duhhhhnald.

Don’t play stupid, you know what those crimes are.

You just want to deny and deceive people on YouTube, that’s your job.

    1. @Dixie Normis Evidence has names, Mike Flynn brothers, Roger Stone, and the rest, you know them, don’t play stupid.

    2. @Ramon Guzman yeah I know who Mike Flynn and Roger Stone are. I also know that neither of them did anything wrong. There is no evidence to suggest otherwise

    3. @Dixie Normis Your denial is pathetic, it is up to a real judge to decide what’s evidence.

Take a seat and let grown ups make the decision.

    4. @Ramon Guzman yes bud YOU should take a seat considering they didn’t nothing and you can’t prove otherwise

    5. @Joseph Volpe Don’t be silly, the evidence is in plain sight, but you are getting paid to deny the undeniable.
      That’s your job, I know.

The only problem that you have is that in real life, many investigations are talking place, and individual number 1 seems to be turning into suspect number 1.

The Supreme Court of the U.S. just authorized the release of his tax statements.
And his campaign is being investigated four fraud, racketeering, wire fraud, tax evasion, and like 425 other crimes.

Get used to thinking about your dear leader as inmate number 2024.5

  3. NO ONE CAN MAKE SENSE OF THE FAILURES AT THE CAPITAL BECAUSE THE FAILURES WERENT FAILURES, IT WAS A PLAN.

    1. @Dixie Normis from your alternative world, you are right, to Americans who witnessed it on TV, it was quite obvious an insurrection.

    2. @rwhunt99 that’s the problem, the suckers who buy into the propaganda on TV have been brainwashed into believing a false reality

    3. @John Smith Those bureaucrats were not the target, those insurrectionists were supposed to capture Pence and Pelosi according the orange traitor’s orders.

The orange clown tweeted some b.s. even as the army for tRump was assaulting the Capitol.

It all will come to light after the 9/11 style commission investigates the traitor and cronies.

Get the idea of having the traitor in jail with Roger Stone and the Flynn brothers.

  4. I know Congress watches the news. Get these guys in front to question the witnesses. Figluzzi, Clint watts, Malcolm nance, ect.

    1. Excellent point. When that crowd started marching towards the capitol, the security at the rally should of notified those responsible for security at the capitol, to beef up and have ready extra security. Why was not deadly force used against those who broke into the capitol? If this was a BLM protest that moved from a rally to the capitol, you would have seen heavily armed federal security all over the place.

    2. Agree totally. The guys you name are intelligent and experienced. They’re also good at explaining what’s going on to non experts.

  5. The witnesses need to look and those congress people asking the question and miss representing the truth and say I can go to jail for lying to you so you should have to pay some consequence for lying to the American people

    1. You’d need a congress with integrity to basically amend the constitution so that they’d ALSO be immediately accountable for lying. This also means you need a population with integrity to VOTE those congressfolk in. I think they should be fined, immediately removed and even jailed dependent on whatever lies the congress is spreading.

    1. Capitol police have a staff of 2200. Now its surrounded by a wall and razor wire. Thought it was our house. Bad wall.
They stopped our wall opened the floodgates and are now fortifying their defences. With their 17% approval rating i don’t blame them.

    2. @Dixie Normis The evidence is there, right in your ugly face, but you will deny, deflect, project, and lie as a way to avoid reality.
You are pushing a false narrative where everything is peachy in tRumperland.
Your fantasy is too boring, too stupid, and totally disconnected from reality.

In your hallucinations your orange clown is still president at Mar a Lago.
Have you kissed the ring lately?

    3. @Salty One Don’t be so salty, your liver will get baked.
Don’t have a cow dude, be a good loser.
Saltiness fried your dear leader’s brain; that’s why he lost his mind.

Just don’t tell him, like a good narcissist, orange is susceptible to critics, he might break down and cry, again.

Don’t you realize that he cried all night long the night before he got kicked out of the WH?

      Get a grip.

  6. Exactly my impression. Those supposed ‘professionals’ failed to see the obvious. But I have a hard time believing it was mere incompetence.

    1. @Erroneous Monk How many people were killed at that El Paso Walmart? Who was it that had plans to kidnap the Michigan goveernor?

    2. @yurei8 You wanna talk about individuals while I’m talking about thousands of people. If all conservatives are bad because of one guy shooting up a public place, then all Muslims are bad for the actions of terrorists. And all leftists are bad because one of the Bernie bros shot congressmen at a baseball practice. How do you wanna have it?

    3. @Erroneous Monk Thanks for your response. I cited one example because you said “no history”. But you said ‘left violence’ when things, such as rally attracts all sorts of individuals. The FBI labels much of it as “opportunists”, those who have other motives, not linked to BLM. One example of this is the “Boogaloo” movement. In one case a man named Steven Carrillo killed two police officers, during a time of BLM protests, in Oakland. Here’s is an example of a person who definitely appears to be an outside agitator during the George Flloyd protests in Minneapolis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoSe1H7rnUw In that city, also a person with Boogaloo connections was arrested for firing an automatic weapon into a police station. . I often ask the question; who benefits from a certain action? Does property destruction benefit BLM? No in my book. But it did benefit Trump’s campaign messaging. So when one encounters a video like this next link, it raises a lot of questions, as who is behind certain things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xb39irqISCQ&list=LL&index=32&t=1s

    4. @yurei8 I’m sure you hit send before you included the video of John Sullivan at the capitol riots?? Look, both sides can claim “instigators” were egging on their own protestors and both sides can find video evidence to support that claim. I don’t believe all leftists are violent. If I did I wouldn’t be so confident of the outcome of an armed civil war. The point is the reactions to such violence from each side. On the left, you deflected and misdirected when the BLM violence was called out. And you’re doing it STILL??? Pigs in a blanket; fry ‘em like bacon. Does that ring a bell? Was that just “instigators”? And since when does BLM have moral or ethical standards. Before the election, one of the local leaders was telling us all through a bullhorn that if his side didn’t win, they were gonna “burn it al down”. And you know what? I wholeheartedly believed him. If Trump would have been declared the winner, there would be buildings burning down and Trump supporters being attacked every day for months. You know it and I know it.
Now are you willing to extend the same courtesy to the capitol riots and assume that the violence was done by “opportunists”? If so, we will have some common ground.

  7. This is what I have been thinking since the day I saw the insurrection on love TV: This must be either an epic display of incompetence of leadership or by design.

    1. It was by design. The people in charge maybe evil but they’re not stupid. Nancy said she had more arrows in her quiver and it looks like she used them all.

    1. I don’t think that word means what you think that word means. Why mot just put it back up on the shelf where it belongs. If you act violently for months, you will be treated like a thug. If you act peacefully for years, you will be treated as such. It’s all about recent history and being accountable. .

    2. @Erroneous Monk really? Wasn’t these Capitol rioters some of the same groups that talk about being locked and loaded and tried to kidnap elected officials in Michigan?

    3. @teresa lee I don’t know. But being “locked and loaded” is protected by the constitution. Kidnapping? No, obviously not. But again. I can send you hundreds of hours of video of your side rioting and looting and two minutes of leftists telling them to stop. As for the Whitmer deal or the capitol building deal, we all condemned it because we truly don’t allow that kind of activity to go unchecked.
In other words, the difference is in the reactions to violence. Also, if you heard a BLM crowd of a thousand people was going to march through your neighborhood, you’d probably be concerned because of the history. If you heard Trump supporters were marching, you would feel hate but I doubt you would be concerned about your property. Because we just don’t do that sort of thing.

    4. @Erroneous Monk well maybe you didn’t use to do those kinds of things. I don’t condone what some of the blm protesters did, its sick and it makes a mockery of the movement. what blm are protesting for and what trumps cult of crazies are protesting for is not even in the same conversation. Trump is an evil pos and i hope he gets whats coming to him, and before you go defending him you can’t tell me anything because i used to work for him in the 80s. So you can save it.

    5. @teresa lee Oh, I would dream of telling you anything. You already know it all. You just ignore the truth of the facts and stick to the comfort of your feelings. And I don’t care what anyone thinks of Frump personally. I don’t like what I know about his personal life. But as a president, he was the best we’ve had since Reagan. Whatever people think of him personally, he did amazing things for the American citizens and I truly believe he cared for America and its citizens more than any president I’ve ever known since I was old enough to know anything.

    1. @Amend the Constitution to Remove Pathological Liars we are cultists but you aren’t? Give me an example of something said by the “news” that you thought wasn’t true…

    2. @Joseph Volpe No news organization is perfect since people DO make mistakes, YET that doesn’t justify classifying EVERYONE that doesn’t follow your agenda as the “MSM ” and falsely accusing them of being “Fake news”. https://youtu.be/qQruDaf7bKs?t=133 Especially if a pathological liar with over 25+ sexual accusations is the one claiming it. So it surely DOES seem like a cult to follow such a fraud.

  8. The security failures are fraught with complicit activity or at best acquiescence to the Mob. Follow the video record.

  9. imma just break it down like this for real the so called insurrection was the biggest hoax of all time and if you really believe it wasnt planned you need to go do some research. Greatest psy op ever. yall deserve an emmy for that one🙌

    1. What do you mean? The dems faked their social media for years, dressed as maga racists to overturn the election they won and no one mentioned it when they were arrested?
      Omg. Stop.

  10. Frank Figliuzzi is one of the most intelligent and clear-visioned persons I have seen commenting this subject area. What’s more, he can also explain himself so that it’s probably more difficult even for a lay person to not understand it than understand it. I enjoy listening to him, even though the subjects he talks about often aren’t enjoyable.

  11. As a public citizen, I observed video footage that showed individuals directing people in a certain direction. That indicates coordination.
Sounds like treason to me from within the halls of congress and the executive branch.

    1. Some of the people in the capital at first were antifa. One member of InsurrectionUSA was deemed by a judge to be so dangerous that he had to remain in jail. This man is black, Clearly not a Trump supporter.

    2. @Sheila Reis Oh Yes they were. A couple of the early arrest were indeed Antifi. Then there was that black BLM member and head of InserrectionUSA. The DC Court considered him so dangerous that they refused to allow him bail.

    3. @Sheila Reis surprisingly there actually were a few Antifa and BLM people at the front screaming,” Burn it down on camera.” CNN even bought the BLM guys footage and interviewed him ( though they refused to condemn his part of the violence. 🙄) It was actually pretty shocking.
