There was never even the slightest chance of winning a trade war against China. China has more people, more resources, a dictatorship and a president for life. The US has Trump. Trump has no sytematic plan or policy. He thinks 0 days into the future. China has 5/10/20 year plans and a complex / systematic way of implementing their economic policies.

@Karen Walkeden I agree. The Dems have been keeping blacks poor in cities they’ve run for decades now. Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago etc. The only like them for the vote. Now they’re going for the immigrants vote. Look back at the first round of the Dems candidate debates. The news outlets are not naive. They have been constantly spoon feeding us a daily diet of Trump 24/7. They cannot get by a 24 hour news cycle without mentioning what Trump said, tweeted, didn’t say, or tweet. It’s like the media has a Trump addiction, and they think their viewers have the same addiction.
Their addiction is called ratings. As long as their ratings are up they will continue to Trumpfest.
They are doing the same thing to Joe Biden as they did to Hillary Clinton and e-mails. Why else would they constantly attack Biden about his record, or his statements.
There is too much at stake to play this game. It does not matter who wins the primary. I will vote for that person whoever it is to defeat Trump, that is what is important.
