THE MINIMUM WAGE NEEDS TO GO UP WITH INFLATION EVERY YEAR AUTOMATICALLY!
I have had conversations with business owners complaining about raising minimum wage. My response is “So we are just suppose to leave these people behind?” One guy I talked to owned an Ace Hardware store for years, in his 60’s, his wife had inherited a bunch of farmland and a bank from her father and he was half complaining that his wife had just went out and bought an “additional” 10 rental properties and he then started complaining about them talking about raising the wage. Unbelievable.
It seems like every time there’s a wage increase prices go up so no matter what people still can’t get a head. It’s a no win situation.
