Former White House Communications Director Alyssa Farah tells Andrea Mitchell that soon after the election, Trump "knew he lost" and "misled" his supporters, ending up with "deadly consequences" after Wednesday's siege of the Capitol. She also says she waited until December to resign because she feared, "who might step into the role, if not me?". Aired on 01/08/2021.

  1. Farah and all d enablers r just using this as an excuse to speak out,but they were just as complicit in d guise of ” serving d country and being a patriot,”yeah right!!!,where were their voices all these years?

    1. They are jumping from the ship however into dark freezing iceberg and shark filled waters

      Chapter 3 begins

    2. You do realize that the majority of the news anchors on NBC are part of the republican party, look how many of them served in the bush administration.

    3. @Jesse Corona u liberals are so is unbelievable.trump was going to open markets in would mean good paying jobs.U moronic fools.

    1. @Terry Dever I didn’t get that at all. I interpreted as she’s blond and pretty but dumb. He didn’t say all pretty blonds are dumb.

    2. They are talking to the likes of her to show how pathetic and desperate the whole administration is. All of them have played a massive part in the destruction and disdain of the United States of America. They are drenched in blood

    1. Absolutely!!! She is a coward for waiting until now to say anything. Truth is…she went along with it and the only reason she is speaking up is because Trump lost. If he had won…she never would have given this interview!!!! Get lost!!!

    1. 18 USC 2384 donny – you are in deep doo doo.
time to resign, no wait for them to impeach you, then the trials.

    1. This is her throwing out her RESUME. She probably has a few days left and is actively looking for a job. It’s also her chance to show “outrage” over what happened and claim some sort of morals. In all fairness she’s a staffer but if you’re going to be a whistleblower to wrongdoing it’s kind of late in the game.

    2. @edgwaterprog That is because many of the news anchors are republican and think they can save their party.

  2. If this is what republicans think of as “orderly and smooth”, no republican should ever serve in public office again.

    1. @Al Notterbot That isn’t helping her any. Turn her upside down you’ll get a brunette with bad breath and an orange stained mouth.

  3. This is SO FUNNY!! She really is trying to recover her reputation. That is ALL!! I hope she NEVER finds another job because of her Trump service!! No integrity!!

    1. For her brains. He grabs them by the brain because “they let you, when you’re a celebrity.” Trump is the biggest brain ever.

    2. I agree, John S. as the french poet Baudelaire wrote: the flowers of evil – but Trump- opponents would consider this as sexist – so it’s dangerous to mention

    3. johns s ,i love your writing ,i’m sure you’d get an absolute blast out of barry humphries character .sir les patterson .the writing for sir les is spectacular and so clever . you know ,when i saw her that’s exactly what i thought .trumpy must have got a few good ideas about secretaries and staff from watching “charlie wilson’s war ” and his choice of female staff .i bet he thought to himself i can do better than charlie wilson . i just love some of these youtube comments .some people are so gifted in how they think and write .[as good as hitch with his spoken word] keep them coming . i’ve even started a file for outstanding youtube comments

  4. OMG she didn’t resign until it was clear he had lost. She still thinks he did good things, he did nothing and she knows it!

    1. .. amazing it only took until psychopaths stormed the capitol building to recognize it and even say something about it.. the worst thing is that some of these deluded people try and compare what happened on the 5th to the george floyd protests.. I mean wtf, I saw a picture of a domestic terrorist in the capitol building with a handful of zip tie handcuffs for, well you know, the hostage taking that would have happened had they come across elected politicians.. not to mention from the chatter I’ve been coming across from these insurrectionists online in circles of their ilk, they fully plan on coming back armed, willing to shed blood and die for fabrications they believe in..

  5. Running 25 of the 26 miles in a marathon…then acting like she was never there. That’s what she’s doing here.

  6. “The lack of honesty with the American people had deadly consequences.”
Is she talking about the election or the pandemic?

Much of Trump’s presidency had deadly consequences.
