@May Loo This comment has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Democrats support BLM and LGBTQ, the two groups identified by a previous poster. I said we support those groups because we believe all people are created equal, and those two groups have been and are being consistently discriminated against in spite of our laws. Democrats also support many other minority and disadvantaged groups. Canada and the US have a lot to be ashamed of in how they have treated different ethnic groups, but we were not talking about all of the other groups that have been used and abused. How that devolved into your word salad about everybody else is beyond me.

The majority of the southern Democrat’s switched to the republican party after Kennedys assassination and President Johnson continued with the civil rights act that Kennedy started. These southern democrats were very racist usually associated with the KKK. This party hasn’t resembled the Northern republican party of Lincoln since that time. The last time the republican party ever resembled the party of Lincoln was during the Eisenhower era (aka Eisenhower republicans).

Including all the MAGA gear. Strange, ey? On the other hand the steel and aluminium is tariffed, material that US companies need to make their products = their profit and jobs with it.
Ivanka and Jared sold US residencies to chinese investors, provided they invest at least 500,000 dollars in US real estate.
On each trip to China Ivanka returned with dozens of new patents and trademarks in China, including one for voting machines. I was surprised that Trump did not insist on all US voting machines (esp. those from Dominion) be replaced with chinese ones from Ivanka’s brand.

– could not lock Joe Biden up before the election, without any reason, just because?
– filed 60 lawsuits against the election that were all laughed out of court, esp. when the attorney appear and say “no, we do not accuse anybody of fraud”
The guy who had 3,500 lawsuits running, had hundreds of open lawsuits when he took office, why should I believe anything he said?

1. $1.5 billion loan from Bank of China/Deutschebank for 1290, Avenue of Americas, Manhattan
2. Hundreds of millions into Jared Kushner’s 666, 5th Avenue by Anbang Insurance Group
3. Massive investments by Chinese investors into Trump’s luxury resort in Indonesia
4. Multi million buys into Trump properties by members of the CCP including 1 Ms Angela Chen for $15.8 million Trump Tower penthouse after his inauguration
5. During his inauguration (and after it), the largest clientele at his hotels were the Chinese, Russians and Saudi Arabians etc etc etc
People quickly forgot how Trump and President Xi were once besties and China was one of the first to offer Trump a state visit. In return, Trump serenaded Xi and his wife at his golf club in Florida…where Ivanka’s daughter sang to them a Mandarin song to impress them.
So his behavior was acceptable until the Election?
She was with the Lincoln Project, so I’m assuming her answer is “No.”
Being that she is the co-founder of the Lincoln project which started in 2016 that would be a definite no but she couldn’t have predicted the cowardous and impotence of the rest of the Republicans when it comes to Trump.

If you are referring to the Reagan era, then the modern Republicans are exactly what many of us on the left predicted they would be, back in the 80’s. We said that if the Republicans kept following that path, then one day they would morph into vicious, greedy oligarchs… which is precisely what has happened. We saw it coming.
