Expectations of people, experts … a walk to Kherson, in the fields. They started , couple of days ago another counter , in NE .. I doubt that they had resources for a massive counter … but does not mean that did not try more
By Ukrainian officials themselves? I don’t have the link right now but months ago a Ukranian officials said that they would have reclaimed Kherson and Crimea by the end of August.

Who said the counter offensive was being billed as “quick”? I’ve heard that speculated on by press, but never claimed by Ukraine as such.

President of Ukraine never said it’s gonna be a quick fight contrary to what the reporter said at 2:23. Zelensky himself admitted it’s gonna be a long fight, a slow but steady process.

I have never heard that before. I think the Ukr govt has consistently said it would be slow and methodical.

Only this reporter. I think he said it, knowingly, instead of, “Everyone says this is not going to be quick, do you you think it will be quick?” “No, I don’t think it will be quick.”

I watched a documentary of that American guy fighting in Syria. He has been part of the Legion of Foreign Fighters for quite some time. Huge props to him and the rest for their support in fighting for a free world.

I have been following this matter from about an hour to several hours every day, both from western and Ukrainian sources, and I have never heard Ukrainian government representatives publicly saying anything like that this counter offensive is going to be quick. Instead they have again and again said the opposite, emphasizing that we shouldn’t expect quick results. I’d be interested to hear who are those that according to the reporter have said the otherwise, and why does he ignore the countless opposite statements that he must have heard.
