    1. @Julia S you’re not a woman of your God by praising yourself and pointing figures at someone else. You are a fraud. The system is not designed to keep people poor. There are many individuals who escaped poverty. So, try again. Or, you and all the crybabies who want more for nothing can go to countries that have the ideologies you simpletons have as see how that works out for ya.

    2. @David Eby Was not aware you knew what I did for a living…funny how people like you think you know everything but do not know 💩.

PS: I choose not to buy a boat and use that extra money to pay my employees more.

    3. @bombastic attitude So,someone with a skillset should start at about $50.00?The average vehicle would cost about $85,000

    4. @Elmosweed thats when you get ANOTHER JOB, another skill, an education, lmfao, why are LIBERALS so stuck on workin min wage, how LAZY are you, go make something of yoruself, STOP MAKING EXCUSES, so pathetic !

  1. Oh well vote for rethugs, get the nasty end of the stick. In Miss, 300 extra us100 times more than they make in a month. Raise min wage but did he offer health ins

  2. Who are the Rep. gonna blame when people still wont take those crappy paying jobs after they cut the aid?

    1. @BidenHarris: MAD Magazine’s Person Of The Year Republicans have done nothing to fix the issues. Only make things worst.

    2. @Debbie Rushing Hey, what happened to you that makes you so angry? Has your life in America really been that bad that you’re convinced there’s an enemy out there making it bad for you?

    3. @Debbie Rushing The southern red Republican states has the lowest paying jobs in America. Having the lowest paying jobs in America only benefits Corporate America does absolutely nothing for working class Americans. Don’t blame Democrats they want to raise the minimum wage!

  3. This is what the Rs do because they think poor people are lazy even though it is common for the “lazy” to have 2 or three jobs to make ends meets. Not very family friendly, but very business friendly.

    1. @Sarah F. 4.2 democrat cities have the most ghettos and most debt out of all the states in the country, you are severely misinformed.

    2. @BidenHarris: MAD Magazine’s Person Of The Year blah blah blah disco inferno Russian troll nonsense. Muting you now.

    3. @NBK blah blah blah Russian troll nonsense. Not even worth debating. Absolutely faux news drivel.

    4. But the Republicans will line up to vote them all into office and to keep them there.🤣🤣🤣🤢🤮

  4. Labor shortage equates to artificial scarcity and that is worker empowerment. Capitalism hustling for workers—IMAGINE THAT!

    1. Excessive generosity permanently for unemployed though is not capitalism. Minimum wage makes some sense, but interesting counter issue is radical levels of immigration

    2. But still not willing to pay more to get workers to sign on in a lot of cases. Republicans have crushed unions, taking away employees bargaining power, and voted against raising wages on this country forever, and now they wonder why people don’t want to go back to work in these conditions.

    1. India/China have over 20 million slaves put together right now. There were 12mil in all 400yrs American slavery combined. Slavery is a far bigger problem today in terms of absolute numbers. It’s just the people doing it control our news and censor our movies you really can’t say anything bad about them and they have posers like kappernick saying that his sweatshops child labor running company Nike is woke and apple who runs actual death camps posing as the woke antislavery company. It’s just that you guys are brainwashed into supporting and covering for it

    2. @REAL BLACKS KNOW THE TRUTH so you understand things have been going up and the minim wages stopped in 1985.

    3. @KingKem _ minimum wage was $2.50 in the ’80s minimum wage in New York City is $7.25 you don’t know how to do math sweetie? you’re bugging out bro maybe somebody’s been cheating your paycheck 😂😂😂☝️

    4. @KingKem _ and if you have a problem with minimum wage maybe you need to go get a better job

  5. If these states opt out of the unemployment insurance then they should be made to return any unspent money back to the federal government

    1. @J M M Dr. Peter McCullough Exposes The Truth About Covid Vaccines in Interview with John Leak
Patriot Prosperity Published June 11, 2021

    2. @J M M Rumble — Dr. Peter McCullough has been the world’s most prominent and vocal advocate for early outpatient treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection in order to prevent hospitalization and death. On May 19, 2021, I interviewed him about his efforts as a treating physician and researcher. From his unique vantage point, he has observed and documented a PROFOUNDLY DISTURBING POLICY RESPONSE to the pandemic — a policy response that may prove to be the greatest malpractice and malfeasance in the history of medicine and public health.

    3. @J M M Dr. McCullough is an internist, cardiologist, epidemiologist, and Professor of Medicine at Texas A & M College of Medicine, Dallas, TX USA. Since the outset of the pandemic, Dr. McCullough has been a leader in the medical response to the COVID-19 disaster and has published “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection” the first synthesis of sequenced multidrug treatment of ambulatory patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the American Journal of Medicine and subsequently updated in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine.

    4. @J M M He has 40 peer-reviewed publications on the infection and has commented extensively on the medical response to the COVID-19 crisis in TheHill and on FOX NEWS Channel. On November 19, 2020, Dr. McCullough testified in the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and throughout 2021 in the Texas Senate Committee on Health and Human Services, Colorado General Assembly, and New Hampshire Senate concerning many aspects of the pandemic response.

    5. @J M M TOO LONG for your limited capacity – 1 hr and 45 min – BUT for any that want the TRUTH of what happened and more importantly DIDN’T happen — the best layout I have seen

  6. Meanwhile, Jeff Bozo is paying little to nothing in taxes. Though he did claim a $4,000 child credit

    1. @BidenHarris: MAD Magazine’s Person Of The Year
When you offer evidence to support your proposition, then I might reconsider. Distraction and intransigence doesn’t do anything to further the dialogue. But you aren’t operating in good faith; you’re just being a troll

    2. Please make the wages 15$
Lets see how many companies will go over sea and how many will fire employees to make it happen. Poor waiters will now need to pay taxes over the money they earn will lose the “tips”.

    3. @Devo What’s stopping the Company going overseas now? Not much. It’s not about taxes for the Corporations and that’s red herring from the Right Wingers scream about. In China it cost roughly $1 compare $7.25 an hour per person to manufacture goods. I saw a markup of fancy blouse made in China made roughly $10 but being sold at $150. The textile owners were more interested in profit than keeping manufacturing here in this Country.

    4. @Whitney Mohrhauser Location.

But i know how important it is for you left wingers that children over seas have jobs.

So you just drive the prices up till it gets to the point that location no longer matters for the $$$.

    5. @Devo It is already at the point. The Blouse mark up was roughly 20 years ago. I remember back in the day Right Wingers used to be about buy American made products. Because if you don’t buy American it means companies shipping jobs overseas. Even Trump tax cuts didn’t stop companies shipping jobs to other countries.

Also those jobs that Children do are slave labor because parents sold them to companies. If they get injured or die the Company don’t really care as long as they can exploit them

  7. Government being asked by business to rig the “free markets” so that employees can’t use their market power to negotiate for fair wages. It proves that free markets are a joke and that the myth of free markets is only referenced when it benefits business.

    1. Yeah Mississippi hates black people and a good chunk of the state is black. Rich white folks think it’s all great but your only as strong as your weakest link and Mississippi saws away at those links with their policies. Maybe just stop being a bunch of racists and treat everyone like normal human beings and give fair opportunity.

  8. What they need to do is start going after these clowns that get unemployment benefits that actually don’t even qualify to begin with.

  9. 12/hr is barely a living wage. Also, the wages might go back down because they ended the unemployment benefits.

  10. They say here in Arizona benefits will end next month two months early. Personally I think it’s a mistake other virus mutations will soon appear especially when the colder months start.

  11. All Congress people should make minimum wage, and only for the hours that they actually work. They shouldn’t make any more than the least among us.
