An "aggressive" fox spent the past two days terrorizing lawmakers, including biting Rep. Ami Bera and a journalist at Politico. A spokesperson for Bera confirmed that he had "an unfortunate encounter with the Capitol Hill fox yesterday." The fox bit the California Democrat while he was on a walk Monday. Bera told reporters the fox didn't draw blood.
On the Senate side, Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, said she saw the fox and sent footage to – where else? – a Fox News reporter. U.S. Capitol Police captured the fox Tuesday afternoon after receiving multiple reports of of "aggressive fox encounters," and bringing an end to a saga that captured Washington's press core.
