From Reunifying Separated Families To Reimagining DHS, Biden-Harris Admin Facing Immigration Hurdles

"DACA recipients got a win Friday when a federal judge ruled for the program to be reinstated. It’s a blow to President Trump, who has been continuously trying to end the program before he leaves the White House. DACA is just one of the many programs and policies the incoming Biden-Harris administration will need to address when it comes to tackling immigration, especially after four years of the Trump administration.
MSNBC’S host of “American Voices” Alicia Menendez is joined by Caitlin Dickerson, the national immigration reporter for The New York Times, Juan Escalante, the digital campaigns manager at FWD.US who is awaiting his DACA renewal, and Greisa Martinez Rosas, a DACA recipient and the Executive Director of United We Dream." Aired on 12/7/2020.

  1. First thing to restore The United States is to prove to the entire world “Nobody is above the law” by letting an independent AG to file necessary charges and keep people who were trusted to look after well being of others at higher standards.

  2. Every single one of those kids will have PTSD, any plans to help them? Is anyone going to jail for this? Stray dogs get treated better than these poor kids.

    1. Curious how many YOU have taken in and cared for? How many have YOU pledged to support financially? Or is it just OK when someone else pays and suffers the negative impacts?
We could give EVERY needy citizen who wants it a free college education by simply not educating the entire third world that has entered this country illegally.

    2. @bobisrighturwrong I would in a heartbeat. 2 of my grandkids and my son in law are mexican, they would blend right in. You need to own your house to be a foster parent. I can’t afford it.

  3. Trump just lost another court case in Michigan for, you guessed it, lack of evidence. Trump has to learn that the courts won’t believe him like his followers do when he says, “believe me”.

    1. Have you watched any of the right wing nut shows , OANN is saying tRump won GA now 😲😲 where do these people get this absolute BS from. CA certified on Saturday giving Biden over 270 electoral votes .. it’s over and certified … Biden won

    1. Senate, the house already passed the 1st and 2nd cares act.. Mitch the Russian wont let anything pass… He is to blame..

  4. “Who’s gonna pay for the Wall?”, D.T.
One of many lies and bad calls by the don of con and “I don’t care” natasha 😔

  5. Maybe they won’t separate tRumps family when they throw them in prison, tRump needs his nightly ivanka cuddle time.

  6. Remember when orphaning hundreds of children was the worst thing the t’rump administration had done?
Little did we know that they’d let the corona run up the death count out of sheer laziness and incompetence.

  7. The deep state swamp is vast it seeps into every government agency and institution in America it is the new organised crime .there’s a purge coming.

  8. Trump could end DACA if he wanted. He’s just playing politics. So much for not being a politician. Btw, DACA is an executive action and wasn’t passed in Congress and signed into law.
