I would just like to point out that the politicians that break their own rules, the police that enforce them and public health folks that think restrictions work have not missed a paycheck for almost two years.

Exactly of course government employees want a shut done they get paid regardless. My neighbour is a government food inspector and he hasn’t been to work in a year and a half still getting his full pay.

You realize how frightening it is when they say they’re putting restrictions in place because there’s not enough information on the new varient. You will never have enough information on a new varient because it’s NEW. Therefore precautionary restrictions will be put in place EVERY season. Realize this could be the new norm every year.
