  1. My gosh I have missed hearing an intelligent, thoughtful and compassionate leader speaking on matters of great importance in the US. It was wonderful to see and hear from you again, President Obama.

    1. Wendy H thank you so much. My heart is heavy, I lost an uncle in a nursing home to Covid-19. He died alone, never to be seen again bc of cremation and no visitors. The protesting takes me back to Oakland Ca., in the Black Panther era, I grew up poor, public housing, my family is of mixed race, that aside. My black/African American neighbors were me and my brothers family, when a lot of our “family “didn’t want us around bc we “lived with the blacks”. My brothers and their mixed race group of friends, 40+ years ago, forced out of a neighboring city Alameda Ca., bc some of their group was black. They were kids, on bikes wanting to go fishing. Sadly, seems like not a lot has changed. I wept with joy when Obama was elected. Felt gut punched when trump won. My prayer is for peace, this country was built on the back of minorities, mostly black, and well we know who controls the wealth. God help us all if trump has 4 more years in office.

    2. Lisa Zabriskie I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I haven’t lost family to it, but I have lost several of my very dear US friends, and my heart is also hurting.
Up in Canada we don’t see the level of racism that exists in the US. But we DO have racism here, against First Nations people, against muslims…and since COVID 19 hit, there’s a lot more racism against Asian people. I honestly don’t understand how people can act this way, but I DO know it has GOT to end, worldwide.

It’s gotten worse and worse since Trump clomped on into the Whitehouse – his constant bs, stupidity and racism seems to have infected the entire world, much like a virus. It’s like the world suddenly slid backwards into darkness the moment he took power. All the horrible people that had been hiding under their rocks all slithered out and started spreading their vileness. Frankly I find it deplorable and absolutely vile that he is willing to help cause riots to distract from his horrendous lack of proper leadership and protection of the people he is supposed to be taking care of. Being Canadian, I have no dog in this race – I’m neither democratic nor republican. And although his cult will yell and whine that I’m a leftie, Blah Blah Blah, quite honestly my views on him are strictly based upon his actions – or distinct lack thereof. I just see what he’s done or not done, and make up my own mind from there.

For everyone’s sake, I truly hope and pray as well that he doesn’t con his way into another term, but it’s pretty clear he’s going to do whatever he feels like – and nobody has the balls to stop him. (Mind you, apparently he was hiding in his bunker during the protests the other day…and we ALL know what THAT has signalled in the past for dictators lol).

I wish you all peace and send you love from up here to the North. Whatever comes of all this, I am sure there WILL be something good coming out of all this horror. Stay strong, and please take care ❤️

    3. Wendy H Again, thanks. These are very very hard times in the USA. It’s nice to hear such an intelligent grasp of what’s going on here, with no vested interest. Racism is a very sad and real thing. Trump has the worst of humanity, mostly his followers, surfacing since elected. Knowing at a very young age, racism, class and $$, ruled, I had not been much a supporter of our system here. President Obama gave me and many others here hope. A man not judged by the color of skin, enough to become president. He was a class act 💯. Trump has set this country back decades. Rest assured, I’ll be voting come November. ✌🏼.

  2. Imagine what could be achieved if everyone was treated the same. Imagine if everyone was supported to reach their full potential. My heart breaks for every time someone has been made to feel less than.

  3. Police need to treat people the way that they would want to be treated, as well as everyone else in this world.

    1. Robin Mackintosh a black guy in his car ran over a black cop in the Bronx! Why no mention of this on the news ? Because it’s run by the Dems ! Another Democrat Hoax! What happened to corona virus??
I COULDNT MATCH IN THE GREEK PARADE ONLY SO THEY CAN LET THIS ORGANIZATION PROTEST AND RIOT !!
DESTROYING BUSINESSES AS IF THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT . OR BURNING DOWN A CHURCH BUT YET STILL BLAME TRUMP SOME HOW. GEORGE LOYD HAS BEEN KILLED AND NOW HE IS BEING PIMPED AND NOW PLAY THE BLAME GAME AND BLAME TRUMP “”AGAIN””

    2. Don’t you know that this was ALL a Set up,To create Chaos!! Its Not about black lives matter,.Its about preparation for the Globalist/Elites Satanic system to take over! NEW WORLD ORDER!!

  4. I can’t stress enough how refreshing and relieving it is to hear an intelligent, eloquent, intellectual leader speak with measured thought, compassion, and logical reason with class is.

    1. @Henri Graves You’re confusing presidential inaction with the obstructionist tactics of McConnell and the Tea Party gang.

    2. @urScorpioLady And how, EXACTLY, was he supposed to stop ANY of that with an Obstructionist House AND Senate whose sole STATED purpose was to block EVERYTHING that Obama tried to enact? Please, enlighten us all on how that was supposed to work.

    3. @urScorpioLady You simply can not stop racism in the span of 8 years. It would take decades upon decades to see a major positive impact. This guy took the presidency after George Bush, who was arguably one of the worst presidents in American history. Obama took on the burden of the Great Recession, the 8 year long war in Iraq, and dealing with one of the most profound terrorists groups in the world. While dealing with all these responsibilities he was still able to bring the economy out of a recession, create an affordable healthcare system making it easier for Americans to have health insurance, created more jobs for Americans since 2011, poverty rates fell for African Americans faster in 2015 than any year since 99…the list goes on. Then you got people like trump that are working to destroy his legacy. He’s sure done a whole lot for this country if you ask me. Give the guy a break

    4. DemiDoN you’re just giving a bunch of excuses for him. Obviously he was NOT a leader !! But a puppet for Gorge Soros … he has done nothing for America in general including the blacks and whites and everyone else involved. He wasted 8 years. Trump did more in couple of year taking after Obama and Bush and Clinton and all of them.

  5. Me too. Thank you to them for organizing and protesting a change that needs to take place for us to grow.

  6. 💞👋👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
    LOVE MY OBAMA!!!!!
    PLEASE KEEP TALKING TO US,
YOUR VOICE ALWAYS GIVES ME HOPE!!!💞💞💞

    1. Scotty Osburn see you cant even come up with proof or evidence keep your mouth shut about things you don’t know

  7. If we stand together we will overcome this. Unity will see us thru it. At the end we will see morning glory .Everbody equal.

    1. Frannie Ladner they make sure he don’t do any of that, they blacked him every time he try anything.

    2. In summation, vote these corrupt, racist, fascists OOO on November 3rd.
      ✊🏼✊🏻✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿✊🏾🇺🇸🎆

    3. 9Sec340Demon, correct!!
THESE SOCIALIST WITH THE LIE OF CORONAVIRUS AND VANDALISM PREFER TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY INSTEAD OF PUT UP WITH FOUR MORE YEARS OF TRUMP IN THE PRESIDENCY. 🤥 LIARS !! SERVANTS OF NWO. YOU GOVERNORS SHOULD PAY ALL THE EXPENSES OF SO MANY PEOPLE VICTIMS OF YOUR DESIRES. STOP KEEPING ILLEGALS, SANCTUARY CITIES AND IN MANY CASES CRIMINALS AND RETURN THE MONEY TO THOSE WHO LOST THEIR BUSINESSES IN THE HAND OF TERRORISTS THAT YOU DID NOT WANT TO STOP. YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN PEOPLE, JUST LOVE TO GET YOUR BENEFITS FROM HAVING A ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT AND MAKING THIS COUNTRY DISAPPEAR. WAKE UP PEOPLE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE FOR YOU.

    1. and George Floyd, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor, Philando Castile, Anthony Hill. Oscar Grant, Eric Garner, Atatiana Jefferson, Yvette Smith, and so many more…

  8. It’s so great to hear his voice, especially at this time. Calm, serious and provides a path forward.

    1. Forward for Wall Street to make bank again maybe… :-/ Not so great for everybody else.

  9. Somebody needs to tell law enforcement officials that respect is earned, not given. 👊🏿💯

    1. @slactweak but to answer your question, you say respect is earned not given. Why not help your community and earn respect from your police and fire department? Contribute to youth clubs and homeless shelters?

    2. @Matt Gyver I know a LOT of cop haters who haven’t been in and out of jail. They hate cops because of all the bullsh*t they’ve seen committed against them and their friends and others in their communities. Some of “you” DO blame all Black people for “a few bad actors”. All cops don’t take the heat but the pervasive attitude among cops is an “us against them” attitude. THAT is why you see basically good cops cover for the bad ones even when they KNOW those bad cops are wrong. That “Blue Wall” is why some of the public believes that All cops are bad.

    3. @slactweak I just want people to realize there’s a cycle, people are told cops hate them so they are rude to them and treat them like crap, so cops feel like the public hates them so they’re harsh back, it’s a big revolving mess that gets worse as time goes on. So then you get Abusive police and more minority communities becoming crime ridden.

  10. This is like getting a large cold glass of water while walking across the Sahara desert. Thank you Mr. President

  11. He’s right. The most important, turn the energy, the momentum into the action. New policies, changes. Thumbs up!

  12. After 4 years, it’s nice to finally see a President with some couth and intelligence….Not to mention, a heart.
