  1. They know exactly who he is. Like they said they have already been to his house and I saw footage of them bringing out computers and a rifle box. Maybe they are looking for people who may have cooperated with him or withheld info and they don’t want to scare them off.

    1. @Gregor Heisenhorn that didn’t age well, he’s a 19 yr old white male, not sure why many care so much about media, when I was growing up no one was crying when everything in the news was black ppl this black ppl that, This country was way more conservative in the 90’s , early 2000’s, pretty much before Obama

    2. @Eeesh you really think the media cares about back people?! this is what I don’t get!! the media report whatever is trending/popular whatever their corporate bosses tell them to, it’s about money, CNN use to be more conservative in the 90’s early 2000’s, no matter how many shootings, white people Image overall will not change from this, their stereotypes are success, money, smart, doctor, no matter what back people do we still seen as thugs, rappers, sports players, drug dealers, white ppl get to separate themselves like conservative/ liberal, blacks are all grouped together, if this shooter was black many be using it to demonize the entire blm movement

    3. @Eeesh There is no such thing as anti-white racism, only people like you think that. And before you get on your high horse I am white.

  2. Apparently, people who work at the facility have to turn in their phones before going to work. There may be a large number of injured people who have not yet made contact with friends and family.

  3. “Good Guy with Gun” went to his truck and retrieved his own weapon….and was then killed by the shooter.

    1. @Deb Hammersley good question . Ask that to the men in this country who need to owned a deadly military weapon .used in 9 out of 10 mass shootings

    2. @CTC – In the two decades following the reforms, the annual rate of gun deaths in Australia fell from 2.9 per 100,000 in 1996 to 0.9 per 100,000 in 2016. I would call 2% a fairly significant drop. .09 sounds like a pretty good figure especially when you compare it to the states with 12.21 per 100,000.

    3. @joe clark – Yes that’s exactly right. If they claim to use them for hunting they can’t really be a very good shot or skilled gun person to need an automatic for that.

  4. We’re all just here waiting to find out what we already know.. RIP to the victims. Shame they lost their lives due to someone “having just a bad day”..

  5. My prayers go out to the victims. This country is truly getting out of hand. Between shooters like this and cops murdering people it’s just getting more and more evil in this country.

    1. @Jean Hubley Wrong. We need ACTION. We need LEGISLATION. Your “god” has failed to stop even a single shooting. Why do you think your “god” will help anything? This isn’t fantasy land – this is the real world. We need to take action ourselves through common-sense gun control. NOTHING will change in this country if we don’t ACT.

  6. 8 people killed and several people wounded in less than 2 minutes. That assault rifle performed perfectly. It performed the way it was designed for, mass carnage.

    1. @Brian Herrala “an armed society, is a polite society”. saw that as a bumper sticker about a year ago.

    2. @Brian Herrala Yes, everyone at FedEx should carry a sidearm, just so as long as they don’t confuse their barcode scanner with the gun, like a 26-year policewoman did when she thought she had her taser out.

    3. @Heretic It only ‘under-performed’ because the nutcase couldn’t get into the facility, and had to pick people off in the parking lot. Thank your favorite deity that FeEx is a gun free facility.

  7. So Brandon Scott Hole’s propensity for possible violence was known to authorities, local and federal as reported by news sources, and yet the 19 year old had access to several rifles. Hmmm.

    1. Well if that’s true then I’m sure something will be done about it.
Seriously though, this will be forgotten in three days and then the next massacre will come along. That’s the American way.

    2. @xxx xxx I guess he had finally heard one too many quips inspired by the irresistible comedic potential embedded in his last name. I reckon 19 years spent as the Butt of incessant Hole-jokes would do in a Pope. (Oops.)

    3. FREEDOM, gotta love it. Hay I’m a nudist, and I think all you clothed people are stomping on my rights to be nakid.

  8. Sad situation but even if the Good Guy had his weapon on him you must first recognize the threat. Too many in past situations thought they could handle it and it didn’t end well. Even with regular training people get careless.

    1. The same rules that kept your ‘Good Guy’ from carrying his gun into the facility, kept the actual shooter out in the parking lot. Imagine the carnage, if he’d gotten inside.

  9. Most likely a protected class. His pic and name would have been out within 2 hrs had he been from the one non-protected group. I’ve won way too many bets when Id takes like 24 hrs.

    1. Brandon Scott Hole
Known to police on a 3/3/2020 incident
      Race: W
      Sex:M
      DOB: 8/20/2001
      Hey: 5,8”
      Wht: 138
      Hair: Brown
      Eyes: Brown

    2. @Nathan Sage how do you know he is white? I know several black people that have “white” names. I know a Peruvian with an Irish last name.

    3. He’s white part of the protected class,,,That’s why all this “wokeness” exist because of their past an present BS

  10. If they haven’t come out yet with any details or information it’s just a cover-up that’s all this is

  11. What I gathered from that law enforcement press conference is THE COPS ARE ON THE JOB……..THAT’S IT !!!!!

    1. @EIon Musk ꪜ Imagine how many more people would have died, if the crazy shooter had been allowed in the building, with his gun.

    2. In the El Paso massacre, there was an armed man hiding from the shooter. He stated he was afraid to use his gun in fear the PD would think he was the REAL SHOOTER.

  12. The news ask questions the cops want to know . News flash the case is in the beginning stages ” let them investigate first ” then they’ll have some answers

    1. Cops don’t seem to want to investigate first when it comes to discharging their handguns into black kids…

    1. @ViAndress Don’t you think that social media deleted his accounts, before his name was released? There are several news sites stating that he was Brandon Scott Hole, 19, and used to work for FeEx. The AP also reports his mother reported him to the FBI last year, saying he would suicide by cop, and they interviewed him. Even though they know who he is, they don’t show a photo.

    2. @Jim Barrett that person reminds me of the Terminator from the first movie where he was looking for Sarah Connor. XD
