The USA has never been a democracy, it is a republic, just like The Roman Empire was two thousand years ago and just like The Roman Empire, it’s death throws, as an international force to be reckoned with, have been started by a madman only interested his own personal agenda.
In a democracy, the government is chosen by every adult citizen having a vote and whom-so-ever gains the majority of votes wins.
The USA has a thing called the Electoral College, 538 votes that can over-ride the popular vote, as it did in 2016, negating any semblance of democracy.
I am ashamed to be an American if this is what MAGA stands for.
