George Conway: Trump’s lawyers treating the House like morons

In part two of his interview, George Conway responded to an argument posed by White House counsel Jay Sekulow during the Senate impeachment trial, saying the problem with the GOP defense isn't whether President Donald Trump is allowed to withhold aid, it's why Trump withheld aid from Ukraine. #CNN #News

    1. Yes. And again thousands if not millions will suffer. Humans have a cycle I believe do to their weaknesses. Will we ever overcome this problem? I am saddened by this because of the younger ones I love who will suffer in so many ways.

    2. A. Lerner : If the winds of Time take much longer to pick up speed ….there won’t be much left of America at the rate we are going. Show me the Bones.

  1. “You’ve seen the transcripts, which the president released transparently”

Not true. NO ONE has seen the transcripts publicly.

    1. @ITSLukexx 1 Wow you are right. You should go to Trump University and donate money to Trump Charities.

      S U C K A!

    2. @Kim Jong-un C’mon man…even the Trump administration admitted they didnt release transcripts. They only released a summary. The transcript has never been public.

  2. The more I see of Conway the more I like him. I believe that hes an honest man and it doesn’t matter if your a Democrat or a Republican he would say and do what’s right.

    1. George Conway is the reason I joined and support The Lincoln Project team and I’m not a republican, he is “country before party”. We need more like him.

    2. I’m a democrat. I have friends who are conservatives.
      That’s fine.
We disagree, we toast each others’ health, and we stay friends.
That’s how it has always been.
But what is happening here is not conservative policy or republican mantra, it is outright fascist and the US is veering towards dictatorship.
George Conway is a conservative with whom I disagree, but respect. The GOP on the other hand, by propping up this imbecile, has become a body that will incite civil war.
Every one of those republican senators is responsible for the hell for which they have paved the way.
They all own it. Every one.
All true conservatives and republicans should come together with the democrats and everyone else who can see that this president is turning the stars and stripes into toiled paper.
Faithful execution of the law does not mean withholding aid for an ally against the explicit instruction of congress for the singular sake of advancing one’s own personal interests.
      That is abuse of power.
      That is impeachable.
      That is anti-patriotic.
And all those who took an oath to vouchsafe the interests of the country and betray their country in favour of their own political interests have committed an impeachable act.
Every senator should be held to account for this and go to prison for it if necessary.

  3. “Man of his word” 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣. Tell me again who paid for the wall ? Mexico ? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂NO, not a man of his word at all.

    1. Because he thought it would happen. That’s different than flat out telling a lie, knowing it wouldn’t happen. But so what? It’s being built lol. And he kept his promises on everything else. No one has a chance in hell of defeating him in the next election. So wtf are you laughing about? You enjoy losing or something? lol, freakin weird.

    2. @SgtHavocUSMC And that is the problem. Republicans actually believe “winning” is more important than morals. Thanks for summing up the problem so succinctly.
You don’t realize that you share your ideals with Nazi Germany and Hirohito and Stalin and Putin, do you?
Jesus said “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Which I think is a very polite way of saying, “they are f*cking idiots”.
I pity you and other Trump supporters. You must be very unhappy people if “winning” is all you have.

    1. That Where You Are Wrong…Trump Has Keep His Word To The American People…To Bad You Are On The Wrong Sid Of The Tracks.

    2. @Ron Wuerch Sure he kept his word only when we think at the fantastic health care program he promised, the promises to coal miners, to all forgotten men and women and so on

    3. JKC – well, when you think about it, Trump is a man of his word in the same way that New Coke was the soda launch of its day, the Hindenburg was a zeppelin of renown, and Charles Manson was a famous folk singer.

    1. Yeah only one word that’s truthful for him would be the word fake but he seems to aim it at everybody but himself so yeah that’s pretty pathetic

    1. Jules MC total oxymoron! Up is down….down is up….Black is white….white is black….good is bad….bad is good….living in the twilight zone!!!

  4. Thank God for people like George who love this country and aren’t afraid to speak the truth from his heart. We need more people with principles in our country and in the Republican party.

    1. In the House and Senate, for sure!
Comparing this impeachment to Clinton’s is illogical bc we had more Patriots than partisans in politics at that point in time. That’s why the President complied and the Democrats voted to actually hear the evidence. Chump is an absolute disgrace! No two oranges about it

    1. I’d bet $100, that deep down, Kellyanne does not really care about trump, she really cares about her job at twisting words and debating.

    1. @Davey McDonald yes it is an embarrassing joke on amercans. We have lost face & integrity in the eyes of the world and the fact that they defend this criminal makes us ALL look like idiot sheeples as we sit and watch this sh!+. What ever happened to america?? Smh

    2. @Ed Vergara yes, everyone knows!!! there’s a movie in the works tilted “The Deplorables”, it’s either going to be a comedy or horror, maybe both!!

    1. Co
wait til the Righteous Judge brings His judgement to the accusers..Remember Hamans gallows…he ended hanging himself!

    2. hubert, George Conway supported Trump when he was elected. He observed how quickly the White House was becoming a mad house. George pulled his support unlike most Republicans who lie and make excuses for Trump.

George the conservative has balls of steel because he regularly voices his concerns about Trump, his failed policies and his inexperienced and unqualified admin. even though his wife is White House counsel.

    1. @UCGrFg57AKBkArM1tj2eTcCA How does anything you said have to do with what I said? The fact still remains that everyone in the world knows it’s a hoax. Even you do, but you might pretend you don’t. Come on now, be honest. Fuk politics, be real to yourself. No parties give a damn about me, you or anyone. Why stick up for them? We need to stick up for each other, not the crooked polititions. They’re crooked on both sides, always will be. Not every single one of them, but most are.

    2. I was thinking the same. Imagine if both parents were morally corrupted. At least they have a 50/50 chance.

    1. For stopping totalitarianism in its infancy, is a fine thing to be remembered for.

    2. @I find this to be interesting Jarp, jurp jup jup Uh, sure. “I don’t believe our intelligence agencies. I believe Putin.”

  5. George Conway is a man with integrity and who truly cares about the best interests of United States, which is juxtaposed to his wife mendacious ways.

  6. In which universe is Cipollone living in? Trump: a ‘man of his word’? What a load is garbage is this man dishing out in the Senate?
