Mztee Panch the best it can be is second degree. First degree would require the murder to be intentional and would require a motive [thats why most first degree murder charges are murder which the victim knew the murder]. That’s often impossible if the person you murdered mins ago was a complete stranger. Second degree only requires intention which based on the video and his plead is completely obvious. My opinion, second degree murder charges need to rolled out.

I’m an American living in Ireland for 15 years. I’m horrified over the death of George Floyd. So proud of the Irish people for speaking out against the kind of ‘policing’ that has killed so many black Americans.
I applaud the family’s reaction when anger could so easily pave the way-I am so angry but you are amazing! You inspire me-Bless you and I pray change will occur and George’s death will not be in vain. God uses all things to his glory. We need to pray he will use this! Stop the hate-spread the love-fix the problem, not perpetuate it -And I am sure George is residing in a place free of hate and standing by our Lord!

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said an autopsy listed Floyd’s cause of death as a “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.”, corroborating the independent autopsy.
Shortly after the family’s autopsy findings were announced, the Hennepin County medical examiner released its own findings, also concluding that the manner of death was homicide.
