Did you read the law or are you relying on the media to tell you what you want to hear. The law basically requires the state to monitor polling locations to see if any have lines longer than an hour, or still have voters waiting in line for more than an hour after polls were supposed to close. In those cases, the state is required to either form new precinct locations to ease the strain or beef up the existing polling locations’ capacities to handle large numbers of voters. This applies specifically to populous precincts, mostly in urban areas.

I moved my computer to the living room, where there’s room for a larger monitor so I can see the screen better. This thread wasn’t strictly about voting in Georgia, it was about whether or not there should be a voter ID law. How would I know what hospitals do? I’ve been alive for almost seven decades. I was born in a hospital. I gave birth to my own children in a hospital. My mother worked in a hospital. My father died in a hospital. My husband died in a hospital. I’ve been a healthcare surrogate for four different people over the years. One of my closest friends is a nurse at Martin Memorial. Who said I won’t leave my house? I go to church, the grocery store, and the bank. That’s about it. Why would I go to Georgia to vote when I live in Florida, am registered to vote in Florida, and have my ballot sent to my house?

Allow the states to conduct elections independently, but under basic federal laws. Apply the law to ALL states, not just one or the other political party.

Do they? Is Delta manning the TSA checkpoints now? I’ve always had to show an ID going through security (where TSA employees are checking ID’s), but never when actually boarding the plane (where Delta employees are checking the ticket).
@Cowboy Curtis I flew with with delta and kept the blanket, was a intercontinental flight, horrible airplane service btw. Anyways yes they check your ID at the desk and make sure your photo matches the passport photo before you can board.
@Jesse Link 4 doesn’t drink Coke Ah, maybe different with international flights where passports are needed. I’ve only ever flown with them within the US, and I’ve never had to go to the desk for anything (always check myself in and only ever needed a carry-on, no checked bags).
@Cowboy Curtis yeah maybe so. I flew back with them, can’t remember if I flew with them other than that. Honestly I think looking at a state issue ID is important. I also only want IRL voting and no internet voting. Like a real country. Having traveled a lot, America is honestly too big. Each state should be free to do what they want and only come together if we’re attacked.
Georgia State Election Board refers 98 voter fraud cases to state attorney general
The cases date as far back as 2014 and include accusations of double voting in the 2016 presidential election.
Here in Ireland ID is required when voting, to keep it safe and secure.
