A study is recommending that the political ombudsman be given more teeth including the power to levy fines and report breaches of electoral laws to the Director of Public Prosecution's, DPP. The recommendation is contained in the Office of the Political Ombudsman 2020 General Election campaign study, Anthony Lugg has the details.
