The Golden Globes were loopier than ever in their first televised ceremony in two years.

The famously unbuttoned awards had no shortage of memorable moments Tuesday night, from Eddie Murphy comically invoking Will Smith’s Oscar flap to Regina Hall cracking up over Kevin Costner's no-show. Host Jerrod Carmichael took the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to task for its diversity controversy in his cutting monologue, while Steven Spielberg's “The Fabelmans” and Martin McDonagh's “The Banshees of Inisherin” walked away with the top film prizes for best drama and comedy, respectively.

Here are other major moments you might have missed from the 2023 show.

    1. He accepts the job, then complains about why he got the job.
These ungrateful westerners and their first world problems are really starting to grind my gears.

    1. 2023 is the era of Twitter snowflakes who are offended by others farts. Ricky Gervais is the priceless Goat they won’t be able to afford no more, sadly

    1. Mr. Mean Hornet you didn’t miss a darn thing. I am going to stop watching that crap. It was a complete nightmare.

    1. No. That’s not it. They were giving Carmichael this push even when he got his own show.

No one can tell u where the guy came from.

We can all remember when we first heard the likes of Kevin Hart and Chappelle and other big comedians before they hit the big time, but Jerrod literally came out with a show when no one had really heard of him, way before he even acknowledged to himself that he’s queer.

I’m convinced he’s got dirt on someone big.

    1. I’m convinced Hollywood is involved in some sort of situation where Carmichael has dirt on some very high-ranking execs. Dude literally came out of nowhere, went back to obscurity, and is back again, but each time he literally gets put on the frontlines and you’ll never go into any part of the internet with a Jerrod Carmichael fanbase

  1. That entire show was as complete train wreck: a creepy, moody host; an oppressive atmosphere with a bored audience of elitists; Eddie Murphy wanted to be anywhere else…..the only good thing was the hot white chick next to Murphy, his white trophy wife I assume ???
