    1. The strategy was ignore it and let it “wash through” the country and get rid of the vulnerable! And easy to blame chine and the President afterwards

  1. The us failed because they left the virus effort up to local governments instead of handling it themselves

    1. //.yes they should have commandeered the individual States healthcare system and tell them exactly what to do..great idea..how do you honestly think they would have reacted if the Trump administration took the control away and ‘handled it themselves’ and told them as you put it ‘if we leave it to you we will fail’ ..you are so unbelievably off base with how you are thinking about this it’s funny

  2. How we got here? It was televised. Soft lives make soft men who make soft decisions. Now add pure evil. There’s your formula on how to make a Donald Trump.

  3. We have been on our own since Trump got elected and if Trump get re-elected we’re all going to be like the citizens of N. Korea..

  4. I’m in New Zealand, we have that strange concept of wearing a mask to look after other people’s health.. And would you believe it? Our only few cases are those quarantined at the border before being allowed back in. it doesn’t cripple our economy, our country is fully opened up again. It’s not about smart, it’s about logic.

  5. We (people aware) knew this a few months after tDrump was elected… such a sad state of our ‘union’…

  6. I don’t know how that man has the fortitude to sit there trying to help people still when he is stifled at every turn

  7. shut your state borders down, go back into a proper lockdown for 2 weeks, test test test, isolate the hot spots. then you can reopen, that’s what everyone else has done, but ‘merica!! right??
