I agreed with the Governor. Protesters are not the same as the looters. They are not the same group.

So i think the protestors had enough days of marching around while we are on lockdown. Let them stay home so well know the only ones out there are the looters that shaghaied their cause.

At 27 mins he trounces trump saying he classes all the protesters as looters . Big fat lie

    • It’s complicated. Like Cuomo says people are exploiting it. There are some blurry lines.

    • @Annemarie Harmer
Yes. That was a HUGE Cuomo Lie. And then Cuomo acts all sanctimonious saying he doesn’t play politics.
Oh, yes he bloody well does.

Attention Americans and Immigrants! If the US continues failing its citizens again and again with injustice, applying arbitrary police tactics and draconian laws and, refusing to reform them or make amends, We the People will overtrow this Government of the Trump Administration!!

Haven’t heard CNN ask him yet, “If you had imposed curfews earlier, would there be less damage and property loss?”

    • Did you hear what he said about Deblasio?! Did you actually watch the video you’re commenting on?! The Governor can’t just order the Mayor to do what he wants.

A voice of calm and reason amidst the chaos. Thank you! God bless you!

Amen! Thank you for all you have done, creating jobs through infrastructure, the shutdown to keep us safe, promoting the mask, showing there is a difference between protesters and looters, your smart reopening plan. Than you!

My condolences to Mr. Floyd’s family. My prayers are with this family because I also believe that he was murdered.
No excuse for crimes being committed though. People are People no Matter what color your skin…we all bleed RED!

Actually in 2020, I believe it’s considered racist to say that all lives matter. Only black lives do.

    • I believe a JURY decides guilt or not guilty, not the dumbass Media MOB and certainly not this NY governor. With that said, 3rd degree murder charge will be vigorously challenged by the defense team and police officers are given a wide swathe of authority over suspects during an arrest. With so many open questions regarding this event, i see either an acquittal or hung jury. The officer walks out a free man.

Well said. And that is what I mean being a good American! Any violence and build burning is not acceptable. Looters, rioting or other anti social activity is not welcome in our society. Stop dividing country that is already divided. Peaceful protests were hijacked by scumbags and criminals. That is barbaric way expressing anything. Stealing big screen tv from target doesn’t make you a hero, but instead you should be in jail and prosecuted. Vandalizing WWII memorial is beyond comprehension and human understanding. Do those people who vandalized WWII memorial even know anything about that war? OMG. How said that is that in 21 century we need to explain that war against humanity cannot stand. Do those vandals even know who Hitler was? Everyone across the world agreed without hesitation that George Floyd was murdered. CVS pharmacy was destroyed. Why? Elderly people will not be able to pick up medications, especially during Covid. How sick that is? There is no justification for destruction of businesses, small or big. That completely dishonor death George Floyd. In Minneapolis government building was set on fire. Why? To show what? Yes, I am angry, and who wouldn’t be? Suddenly all people forgot about COVID. That was total catastrophic failure on local, state and federal government levels. That is not acceptable. Those who are still confused about 1st and 2nd amendments, rethink your views, because criminals are not going anywhere.

You impeach Trump and who you will end up with is Biden. He is just as weak if not worse. We need effective strong government to stop this nonsense and chaos. Who paid for these organizations to destroy, loot and riot? Local and State government are responsible to protect its citizens, law abiding citizens. Protect businesses, protect buildings. This is clearly war against American way of life. Government is loosing credibility and this is exactly what criminals are counting on. Weakness is not acceptable at these dramatic times. We need government, State and local to protect us from criminals.

Stop police abuse. Allways the same with them. Be people of good.

  9. We need a good America where most people have no desire to be criminal. The system is unjust and hard on the average person. Instead of programs like EBT the government should focus on making American’s more independent. How about making American homes energy independent so that we don’t have to work so much? We have plenty of technology but rich Republicans would loose money on big business and Democrats don’t want us to be more independent because that’s less economical stress on America. We are slaves to this system!

That is the key word that NYPD need to be told to do their job. That is I believe DeBlasio is ineffective mayor starting from mishandling Covid back in March, and not allowing NYPD arrest looters and rioters. I also believe NYPD can handle it if DeBlasio didn’t stop them. I truly hope DeBlasio will not be re-elected. For the most part I agree with governor Cuomo. DeBlasio is a poor choice to manage such complex city as NYC. This is catastrophe for lot of people in NYC. Criminals should be in jail, regardless black or white, blue or brown. Government is loosing credibility over something that could be resolved.

  11. But you’ve been in politics for how long? Cmon man

  12. Tell your brother and CNN not to use this moment to be divisive and play politics.

  13. Proposed Permanent Solution: When the LOOTING starts, the SHOOTING starts: Military needs to start using machine guns on ALL looters as they attempt to leave the buildings that are being looted. The PUBLIC needs to wake up the following morning and see that JUSTICE has been done with images of hundreds of dead criminal bodies. That is the only message that will deter criminal activity. Those that believe otherwise are foolish and as guilty as the democrats that run these city shitholes.

  14. I just don’t understand why the national force can’t be utilized in this urgent situation. People are placed in danger and especially small businesses are suffering. This needs immediate attention and calls for appropriate solutions without delays.

  15. Cuomo and de Blasio have failed NY

I see now the same scene , it all started like this . I know thy are very defernt cases to compare , but ask ur selfs how all wars start then think about my words for a bit . u should lesten to what this man is saying . All poltitcs are forms of laying even in Europ , its a fact.
but dont be in one day a pupet in some one hand , think for second befor destroing ur country . dont hide behinde the truth. never think for a second that u can achieve ur political goals by doing this .Looters are looters and u should stop them . destruction only create more destruction
    Good bless u all .
