Trump himself said the words and did nothing but golf more then any other president while the American people were dieing. My proof is trumps own words and the document signed by the vice president. I wouldn’t call Biden’s agenda as massive as the New Deal but it’s definitely the closest thing we’ve had since then. A New Deal level movement is what we’re hoping for.

Solving a pandemic in six to nine months would have been impossible with Trump, that’s for sure. Before the election, he promised at every campaign stop that, if he won, he would not talk about Covid anymore: “you will not hear about covid” from the administration. Recipe for absolute disaster, hundreds of thousands more dead, millions more grieving, economy in shambles. Let Science Lead! Thank you Biden.
Trump is just plain lazy…he had all the resources and power to get covid under control and he didnt even need to lift a single finger…yet he chose to undermine health officials and what science would play in this pandemic but he put himself into the arena acted like he was intelligent threw wild ideas and now is all alone…

Cuomo called it back in March last year when his state got slammed, he’d said something along the lines of: “Take a good look at us because we are your future.”
and he was spot on about what our future would be – depending on the options we chose.
I like this man’s intelligent speech.
Although I believe much of the blame should go to Trump administration, Cuomo and his team of experts should have expected the initial 3-month “ambush” when the virus was still escaping China seeing that NY is one of the most internationally visited places in the world. He handled it way better than the federal counterparts ever since but still, not a good response overall.
@John Lennon The important thing to me is that Cuomo and others (Newsom, etc.) were and are acting in good faith. Trump and his cohorts were not. Whereas we can fairly question whether Cuomo made mistakes, Trump was deliberately sandbagging the federal response. It’s a completely different level of failure.
